    Notes:

    GADSILL - Mrs. Henry Neeb, 90, of North Easthope Township died Sunday at Stratford Hospital. The former Catherine Berg, she was born at North Easthope, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Berg. She was a member of the 1st St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Wellesley, and of the church's ladies aid. She was predeceased by her husband in 1947, and also by one daughter, two brothers and two sisters. Surviving are three sons, Henry and Clarence, both of North Easthope and John of Gadshill; one daughter, Mrs. Edward (Mary) Fleischauer, of Stratford; 13 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. The body will be at the Futher Funeral Home, Wellesley, until 1 pm Wednesday, when removal will be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church for service at 3 pm, conducted by Rev. O. Brillinger of New Hamburg. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.

Also survived by a son, Ralph Neeb and Daughter-in-law, Louise of RR 1, Gadshill; a daughter, Mrs. Irene Epp and son-in-law, Wilfred of RR 2, Tavistock; a brother, John Neeb of Stratford and a sister, Mrs. Edwin (Mary) Fleischauer of Waterloo; three grandchildren, Paul and Colleen Epp and Heather Neeb. The family will receive friends at the Heinbuck Funeral Home, 156 Albert St., Stratford, today, 2-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at First Street Paul's Lutheran Church, Wellesley, on Friday, Jan. 8 at 2 p.m., Rev. Karl Frincke will officiate. Interment will be in the adjoining church cemetery.

    NEEB, John C. - Of 53 Britannia St., Stratford, and formerly of Wellesley township, died Friday, July 29, 1988, in his 86th year, at Stratford General Hospital. Predeceased by his first wife, Verda Burmeister, December 9, 1960. Surviving is his second wife, the former Myrtle Alma Hartung; two daughters, Marjorie and her husband Robert MacMillan of Dorchester and Irmgard and her husband Earl Koch of RR 1, Gadshill. Grandfather of Susan and her husband Kingsley Wright, Raymond MacMillan and John and Darlen Koch; brother-in-law of Margaret Neeb, Frieda Neeb and Mabel Parke, all of Stratford, Margaret Mueller of Tavistock and Greta Miller of Dashwood. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.

    Predeceased by a daughter, Catherine in infancy; two sisters, Mary Fleischauer and Florence Mueller and two brothers, Henry and Clarence. Visitation at the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron St., Stratford, Saturday, 7-9 p.m. and Sunday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at First St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Wellesley, on Monday at 2 p.m. Interment will be in the church cemetery.

    HAMPSTEAD - Clarence P. Neeb of RR 1, Gadshill died suddenly today of a heart attack at his home. He was 59. Mr. Neeb was born in Wellesley Township Nov. 11, 1908, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Neb Sr. He farmed since 1931 and was president of the Agricultural Society for a number of years and was a member of the Lutheran Laymen's League of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Wellesley. He had served as Record correspondent for a number of years. Surviving are his wife, the former Margaret Schmidt whom he married June 8, 1938, in Wellesley; two sons, Peter, at home, and John of Ann Arbor, Mich.; one daughter, Catherine, at home; two brothers, Henry of RR 1, Gadshill, and John of Gadshill; and one sister Mrs. Edwin (Mary) Fleishauer of Stratford. He was predeceased by one sister.
