STUEBING, Delores - A fighter to the very end, mom passed away peacefully at her home at Forest Heights Long Term Care Centre, on Tuesday, March 21, 2006, with her family at her side after a long and courageous battle with the complications of multiple sclerosis. She was in her 73rd year. Forever loved and remembered by her caring husband of 53 years and best friend Chuck, also proud sons Mark and his wife Karen and Brian and his wife Trudy and their children John, Dan, Laura and Rebecca. Also remembered by brother Wilf (Dorothy) Rieck and sister Dorothy (Sam) Herron. Predeceased by parents Henry and Louise Rieck, sister, Mae Watson, and brother Lloyd Rieck. Mom was a true testament to positive thinking. She was able to find the good in all situations. (A true Leafs' fan who still believed they could make the playoffs this year). A memorial service to celebrate Delores' life will be held on Sunday, March 26, 2006 at St. Luke's Lutheran Church (317 Franklin St. N., Kitchener) at 2 pm. Rev. James Koellner officiating. Reception to follow. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Society or St. Luke's Lutheran Church would be appreciated by the family (donations can be arranged by calling the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 749-8467).
