    Nicholas Melnyk

    GALT, Nicholas Melnyk, 80 Oak St., died Sunday, at South Waterloo Hospital, Galt. He was 57. Mr. Melnyk was born in Poland. He resided in Galt, for 23 years. He was employed as a carpenter at Gardiners of Galt Ltd. He was a member of St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church in Preston. Surviving are his wife, the former Anna Nascia; one brother, Michael, of Brooklyn, N.Y., one brother and two sisters in the Ukraine. The body will be at the Coutts and Son Funeral Home, until Wednesday morning, when removal will be made to St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church, in Preston, for the service. Interment will be in Mount View cemetery.
