    CHORNABY, Ronald Arthur

    Veteran of World War II. Passed away suddenly, at Fairview Mennonite Home, Cambridge, on Saturday, February 14, 2015, at the age of 91. Beloved husband of the late Sarah (nee Cairns). Loving father of Victoria 'Vicki' of Ottawa, Patrick (Jill) of Cambridge, Paul of Brantford and Maurice 'Moe' of Cambridge. Cherished grandfather of Jennifer, Kerri (Jim Beaumont), Shelley and Michael, as well as one great grandchild Jeremy. Dear brother of Hughie (Irene) of Chesley, Ralph of Cambridge, Victor (Shirley) of Hamilton and brother in law of Dorothy, also of Cambridge. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Ron was predeceased by his son Ronald Jr, daughters Suzanne and Gail, son in law John, sisters; Margaret and Joyce Cholewa (Ted) and brothers; Douglas and Robert. Resting at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas St. N., Cambridge, where the family will receive friends, on Tuesday, February 17, 2015, from 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home chapel, on Wednesday, February 18, 2015, at 1 p.m. Interment will follow at Mount View Cemetery.

    CHORNABY, Gail Marie

    Surrounded by her family at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Sunday, February 3, 2013, in her 62nd year. Dear daughter of Ronald Chornaby and the late Sarah (Cairns) Chornaby (1995) and beloved sister of Victoria (Vicki) O'Neil of Ottawa; Patrick (Pat) and wife Jill of Cambridge; Paul of Brantford; Maurice (Moe) of Cambridge. Dear aunt of Jennifer, Kerri, Shelley and Michael and great-aunt of Jeremy. She was predeceased by her sister, Suzanne (Suzie - 2005); her brother Ronnie (1993) and brother-in-law John O'Neil (2012). Gail will be missed by all of her extended family and many friends. At Gail's request, a private family mass was held at St. Clement's R.C. Church, Duke Street, Cambridge, on Wednesday, February 6, 2013. Cremation followed.
