    Passed away on Wednesday, October 21st 1987, at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital. Clara Reed of 11 Taylor Court, in her 76th year. Beloved wife of the late Donald G. McLeod (1976). Dear mother of Gordon Alexander MacLeod and Donald William McLeod both of Cambridge, John Robert McLeod of Branchton, Janet (Mrs. Frank McKenna) of Cambridge. Also survived by 15 grandchildren. Mrs. McLeod was predeceased by a son Ronald, two brothers and two sisters and a grandson, Jake Ronald. Mrs. McLeod, was born on October 22nd., 1911, at Eden Grove, Ontario and has been a resident of Cambridge since 1956 and was a member of St. Giles Presbyterian Church and a member of the Ladies S.P.E.C. Group of St. Giles and a member of the Senior Citizens. Resting at Coutts and Son Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrews Street, where the family will receive friends on Thursday evening, from 7-9 p.m. and on Friday, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held from the funeral home chapel, on Saturday, October 24th. Time of service to be announced tomorrow. Interment Mount View Cemetery.

    Mrs. Harry Liscombe

    GALT, Mrs. Olive Liscombe, 14 Waterside St., died today at South Waterloo Hospital. She was 77. Mrs. Liscombe was born at Perth, Ont., Dec. 13, 1893 and had lived in Galt, for more than 50 years. She lived formerly in Perth and Huntsville. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church and was church treasurer, for many years. Her husband, Harry, died in June, 1950. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Hubert (Joan) Caswell of Scarborough; four sons, Carl of Detroit, George of Pierre, S.D., Jack of Galt and Frank of Hamilton; one sister, Mrs. Ethel Beatty of Perth and 12 grandchildren. The body is at the Coutts and Son Funeral Home, where a funeral service will be conducted, Wednesday, at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Mount View cemetery.

    Suddenly, at the Hamilton General Hospital, on Tuesday, March 14, 1995, in his 42nd year. John McLeod of Branchton, beloved husband of Louise. Dear father of Shannon, Katie and Ashleigh all at home. Dear brother of Gordon and his fiancee Elizabeth, Donald and his wife Jane and Janet and her husband Frank McKenna all of Cambridge. Lovingly remembered by his Nieces and nephews, his sisters-ih-law, Jayne and Joanne and his many close friends. He was predeceased by his son, Jake Ronald, his parents, Donald and Clara, his brother, Ronald and his niece Monica. Mr. McLeod was auctioneer with the Ontario Auto Auction, for over 15 years and was a Member of St. Giles Presbyterian Church, Cambridge. Friends will be received at COUTTS AND SON FUNERAL HOME, 96 St. Andrews St., Cambridge, on Thursday, from 7 - 9 p.m. and Friday, from 2 -4 and 7 - 9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be conducted at St. Giles Presbyterian Church, East Street, Cambridge, on Saturday, at 3 p.m., with Rev. Gordon Griggs officiating. Interment to follow in Mount View Cemetery.

    McLEOD Monica Michell

    Suddenly, on Friday, August 19, 1988, in an automobile accident, during a holiday north of Victoria B.C. Monica Michelle McLeod of Harriston, in her 20th year, was the beloved daughter of Jayne McLeod and the late Ronald McLeod. She is survived by her mother Jayne McLeod and Lary Park, her sister, Rhonda of Cambridge, her sister, Stephanie at home, her grandfather, Bert Pekel of Harriston. Monica was the beloved friend of Scott Fettes of Mount Forest. Also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins in the Cambridge and Harriston areas, as well as Oxford Junction, Nova Scotia. She was predeceased by her father, Ronald McLeod, grand-parents, Donald and Clara McLeod, cousin, Jake McLeod and grandmother, Mrs. Bert Pekel. Prior to moving back to Ontario with her family in 1984, she resided in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. She worked two summers at Hostess Foods Cambridge. Following high school graduation, she was studying, Massage Therapy at a College in Sutton, Ontario. Resting at Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston, for visitation, Thursday, after 2 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home, Thursday evening, at 8 p.m. Rev. George Bell officiating. Cremation to take place on Friday. Interment will be in Mount View Cemetery (Cambridge), with a committal service, at 11: 00 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 27. Rev. Gordon Griggs officiating.
