    McLEOD Monica Michell

    Suddenly, on Friday, August 19, 1988, in an automobile accident, during a holiday north of Victoria B.C. Monica Michelle McLeod of Harriston, in her 20th year, was the beloved daughter of Jayne McLeod and the late Ronald McLeod. She is survived by her mother Jayne McLeod and Lary Park, her sister, Rhonda of Cambridge, her sister, Stephanie at home, her grandfather, Bert Pekel of Harriston. Monica was the beloved friend of Scott Fettes of Mount Forest. Also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins in the Cambridge and Harriston areas, as well as Oxford Junction, Nova Scotia. She was predeceased by her father, Ronald McLeod, grand-parents, Donald and Clara McLeod, cousin, Jake McLeod and grandmother, Mrs. Bert Pekel. Prior to moving back to Ontario with her family in 1984, she resided in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. She worked two summers at Hostess Foods Cambridge. Following high school graduation, she was studying, Massage Therapy at a College in Sutton, Ontario. Resting at Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston, for visitation, Thursday, after 2 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home, Thursday evening, at 8 p.m. Rev. George Bell officiating. Cremation to take place on Friday. Interment will be in Mount View Cemetery (Cambridge), with a committal service, at 11: 00 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 27. Rev. Gordon Griggs officiating.
