Joseph Kurts

GALT - Joseph F. Kurts, formerly of 115 Tait St., Galt, died suddenly, Tuesday, at Hilltop Manor. He was 79. Mr. Kurts was born at Maryhill, Ont. and had resided in Galt, 40 years. He was a painter and decorator for many years. He lived retired the last 10 years and was a member of St. Gregory's RC parish. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Hilda May Boyle, in November, 1967. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Roy (Helen) Montgomery and Mrs. George (Luella) Egoff both of Galt; two brothers, Peter of Waterloo and Paul of Kitchener; one sister, Mrs. Katherine Schell of Edmonton; three grandchildren. The body will be at the Little's Funeral Home, 39 Grand Ave. N., Galt, from Thursday, then to St. Ambrose Church for funeral mass on Friday, at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Mount View cemetery, Galt.

EGOFF, Luella (Lou) Marguerite (nee Kurtz)

1921-2004. Passed away, peacefully, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Saturday, April 3, 2004, after a short but courageous battle with cancer. Beloved wife of the late George Egoff (August 2001). Loving mother of John and his wife Sue of Cambridge, Brian of Vancouver and Christopher of Cambridge. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren, Katie and Andrew Egoff. Predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Hilda Kurtz and survived by her sister, Helen Montgomery of Cambridge and her sister-in-law, Sheila Egoff of Vancouver. Upon Luella's request, there will be no visitation. A private family funeral at St. Gregory's RC Church, will be conducted on Tuesday, Apr. 6 , 2004, with interment to follow in Mount View Cemetery, Cambridge.
