Of Golden Years Nursing Home, Eagle Street, Cambridge, at his residence, on Saturday, March 4, 1995, Edwin Zimmerman, in his 87th year. Beloved friend and companion of Marie Koehler and loving father of Wayne and his wife Sue of Cambridge, Larry of Edmonton, Marlene Mercer and her husband Wilfred of Cambridge and Carolyn Boucher and her husband Don of Cambridge. Dear brother of Anna Pfeffer of Harriston. Loving grandfather of eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Also surviving are the family of his companion Marie, Vi and John Hunt, Jean and Bob Paquette, Linda and Andy Young and Diane and Phil Robbins and all of their families, all of Cambridge. Mr. Zimmerman was predeceased by his first wife, Lorena; two sons in infancy: three brothers and four sisters. He was an adherent of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Cambridge. Resting at the Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas St., Cambridge, where the family will receive friends today (Monday), from 2-4 and 7-9 p,m. Funeral service to be held at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Grand Avenue North, Cambridge, on Tuesday, March 7, 199 at 2 p.m., Rev. A. Paulsen officiating. Interment Mount View Cemetery, Cambridge.
