She was a loving daughter of Winnifred Dawson (deceased) and wife to the late Hans. Dear mother of Pat, Rob (deceased) and Cheryl, Spike (deceased) and Jan, Jane and Richard both deceased, Abe and Sandi, and Nancy. She will also be missed by her 16 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren. Sister of Bruce and Marie and sister-in-law Marion. Predeceased by her brothers Harold, Neil and sister-in-law, Vryne. Predeceased by her grandson, Cory. A. A resident of Ridgetown and formerly of Cambridge, Robert (Swanee) Zvaniga passed away suddenly at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham, on Sunday, June 7, 2009, at the age of 62. Born in Galt, son of Mrs Grace (Dawson) Zvaniga of Cambridge and the late, Hans Zvaniga. Beloved husband of Cheryl (Pinder) Zvaniga, for 38 years. Dear father of Brandy Haycock and her husband Aaron of Barrie, Steven Zvaniga and his wife Melissa of Ridgetown and Jeffrey Zvaniga and his wife Lisa of Belle River. Papa to Michael, and Christopher, Saadi, Chloe and Pheobi, Kyle, Brooke and Ryan. Brother of Patricia Murawsky of Cambridge, Paul (Spike) and Jan Zvaniga of Bath, Edward (Abe) and Sandi Zvaniga of Cambridge, Nancy Zvaniga of Cambridge and the late Jane and Richard Beer. Son-in-law of Mrs. Mildred Pinder of Cambridge and the late Robert Pinder. Brother-in-law of Bryan and Jane Pinder of Cambridge and Barbara and Bill Franks of St. Catharines. Born in Galt, Ontario, June 19, 1949, recently of Adolphustown, Ontario, passed away on March 16, 2012 in Napanee, Ontario. He was the devoted husband of Jan, proud father of Eric, Colin and Jennifer. Loving father-in-law to Margaret, Brandy and Curry. Joyful and adoring Grandfather to Cassandra, Mikaela, Emily, Kelson, Delanie, Thomas, Nicholas and Rylan. He was raised in Hespeler, Ontario, the third child of Hans and Grace Zvaniga, the brother of Patricia, Robert, Jane, Edward, and Nancy, brother-in-law to Bill, Cheryl, Richard, Sandi, Cliff, Les, and Karen, son-in-law of Alfred and Barbara Hrdlicka and a loving uncle to 35 nieces and nephews. He served Canada for 28 years, in the Royal Canadian Air Force, until his retirement in 1995, and continued thereafter in the Public Works and Government Services Canada, until 2008. Family was his source of happiness. Always welcoming and easy to laugh and smile, he was a soldier, builder, storyteller, coach, teacher, artist and friend. “He was our North, our South, our East, and West, our working week and Sunday rest, our noon, our midnight, our talk, our song, we thought he would last forever, we were wrong. Service will be on Wednesday, March 21, at 11: 00 a.m., at St. James Lutheran Church, Hespeler, Ontario, with interment at New Hope Cemetery.

BEER, Jane Susan (Zvaniga) - Suddenly on Saturday, June 20, 1998 at her residence. Jane Beer, 47 years of age, beloved wife of Richard, dear mother of Jennifer, Karen, Sarah and Maggie. Dear daughter of Grace and the late Hans Zvaniga, dear daughter-in-law of Marjorie and the late William Beer; dear sister of Patricia, Robert and his wife Cheryl, Ridgetown, Paul (Spike) and his wife Jan, Ottawa, and Edward (Abe) and his wife Sandra and Nancy Zvaniga, Cambridge. Dear sister-in-law of Linda and her husband Doug Doerr, Cambridge, Brenda and her husband Sonny Sprague, Kitchener, Ronald Beer and his wife Pam, Cambridge, Susan and her husband Brian Peckford, and Robert Beer and his wife Colleen, all of Cambridge. Also survived by 26 nieces and nephews. Mrs. Beer worked in the Emergency ward at St. Mary's Hospital and KW Hospital, then with Admitting at Cambridge memorial Hospital. Then in 1996 Jane and her daughter Karen opened Janie's Flowers in Hespeler. Mrs. Beer is resting at Nelson Funeral Home, 1766 Franklin Boulevard, Cambridge from 2-4 and 7-9 pm on Monday. The Funeral Service will be held at St. James Lutheran Church on Tuesday at 12 o'clock. Interment to follow at New Hope Cemetery. Those who wish may make a memorial donation to the Cambridge Chapter of the Heart and Stroke.

Passed away on Thursday, August 3, 2006 at Cambridge Memorial Hospital with his family by his side, Cory Douglas Hans Zvaniga, 28 years of age. Beloved son of Abe and Sandi Zvaniga, oldest brother of Jason, Kendra and Dean. Special friend of Lisa Galiot. Loving grandson of Grace Zvaniga (the late Hans), and the late Douglas and Ruth McKenna; uncle of Cody. Cory was the nephew of Pat Murawsky, Robert and Cheryl Zvaniga, Paul (Spike) and Jan Zvaniga, and Nancy Zvaniga, and the late Jane and Richard Beer, and also Debbie and Bill Duffield, Brian and Pat McKenna, and Tracy and Bill Davidson. He will also be missed by his many cousins. Cory's family will receive friends at the Lounsbury Funeral Home, 1766 Franklin Boulevard, Cambridge today (Friday) from 7-9 p.m. A memorial service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cambridge Memorial Hospital Medical Daycare.
