    Mrs. Charles Borth, 82, of Moorefield, died Friday at Sc. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener.

    She was the former Maria Elizabeth heist, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. George W. Reist of Maryborough Township.

    She moved to Floradale in 1904 after her marriage and lived there until 1920 when she and her husband moved to Moorefield.


    Mrs. Borth was a member of Moorefield Presbyterian Church, St. Andrew's Womens' Missionary Society and the Ladles Aid.

    Surviving are her husband; four sons, Julius and Gilbert of Moorefield and Harry and Carl of Kitchener, three daughters, Mrs. Harry
    (Mabel) Allendorf of Moorefield, Mrs. Walter (Florence) Fach of Hanover and Mrs. William (Betty) Hedrech of Kitchener' two brothers,
    Addison and Irvine Reist of Peel Township; three sisters, Mrs. Emery (Florence) Ruby of Kitchener Mrs. Edward (Emma) Ruggle of
    Floradale and Mrs. A. (Martha) Eby of Elmira and 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

    The body rested at the Miller Funeral Home, Palmerston until 2 p.m. Monday. The funeral was conducted by Rev. Alex Clements. Burial
    was in Bethesda Cemetery.

    EWARD F. REIST

    Edward F. Reist, 66, of Kitchener, died Monday, July 18, at K-W Hospital after a two-week illness.

    Born in Floradale, Dec. 3, 1893 he was a son of the late George Reist and Elizabeth Soehner. He came to Kitchener 48 years ago and was a tire builder at Dominion Rubber Company Ltd. He was a member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church.

    He was predeceased by his wife, the former Clara Gerth. in 1933. Surviving are a son, Robert, and a daughter, Marie, of Kitchener; three brothers, Addison and Irvin of Floradale and William of RR 1, Kitchener; four sisters, Mrs. Charles (Elizabeth) Borth of Moorefield, Mrs. Abs. (Martha) Eby of Elmira, Mrs. Edward (Emma) Ruggles of Floradale and Mrs. Emory (Florence) Ruby of Kitchener and one
    grandchild. He was predeceased by a brother.

    The body was at the Schreiter Sandrock Funeral Home until noon Wednesday when removal was made to St. Matthew's Lutheran Chapel for service conducted by Rev. F. W. Zinck. Burial was in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery.

    Edward married Clara Magdalena Gerth 25 Mar 1916.     Interment in the Elmira Union cemetery.

    Hilbert Borth of Moorefield, employed with the Robt. Farrish machine-shop in Listowel, suffered painful injuries last Friday morning while loading dollies at Elmira, He was thrown against the truck and the main bone of his left leg was crushed just above the ankle. He was rushed to the K-W Hospital where he will be under treatment for the next two months or so. All sincerely wish him a sure recovery.

    REIST, George William - Passed away peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday, December 27th 2005 at The Village of Winston Park in his 91st year. Beloved husband of Agnes Reist (nee Baird) for 59 years. George is survived by sisters-in-law, Isabel Hallman and Hazel Baird and brother-in-law, Harold Junker. He will also be fondly and lovingly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, William and Margaret Reist (Mitchell); sisters, Elizabeth Junker and Laura Reist; sisters and brothers-in-law, Russell Hallman, Robert and Jean Baird, Faith and Fred Neudoerffer, Ruth Baird, Tom Baird, Jean and John Cox, Margaret and Ken Smith. George resided on Reistview Jersey Farm in the Williamsburg Area from childhood to retirement. A sportsman all his life, George hunted, fished, played baseball and was an avid curler. Later when he could no longer participate he could be seen at local arenas and ball diamonds simply enjoying the games. Everybody loved being with George, he could talk with confidence on any topic and his keen sense of wit always made people smile. Friends will be received at the Westmount Funeral Chapel, 1001 Ottawa Street South (at Westmount), 743-8900, on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of the funeral home on Friday at 2 p.m. Spring Interment to follow in Chesterfield Cemetery, Plattsville.     Passed away on Thursday, October 16, 2014 at Louise Marshall Hospital, Mount Forest. Bill, at the age of 80 years, was the beloved husband of Pearl (Lichty) Fach for 59 years. Dear father of Pat and Harold Leerentveld of Bobcageon, Wendy Muise and friend Ray of Fergus, Brenda and Carl Daniels of Arthur. Lovingly remembered by his six grandchildren and one great-grandson. Brother of Walter, George, Dave and Bob (Josie), Fach. Predeceased by his son Brian (1979), parents Walter and Florence Fach, brother Jim, and sister Ruth Hoffer. There will be no funeral home visitation. A private family service will be held at the Dreisinger Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Elmira Union Cemetery. In Bill's memory, donations to Louise Marshall Hospital Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy

    Elmira - Thomas Dreisinger, seven months, died Monday at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. David Dreisinger, 10 Cross St., Elmira. Surviving besides his parents is one brother, John. The funeral was conducted today and burial took place in the Elmira Cemetery. Rev. Frank Malinsky officated.
