W. A. Perine built this fine residence for his family in the 1860's. Attractive features include elaborate roof detail of bracketed eaves and ridge frieze, main entrance on the east side of the building with original double-leaf doors present, eaved window trim and the later addition of a wrap-around porch with gingerbread trim. There is a spacious garden enclosed by an Edwardian wire fence..<sup>1a
