    Notes:

    V. M. BERLET.

Next in our review we wish to make prominent mention of our popular and successful merchant tailoring business of which Mr. Berlet is the enterprising proprietor. Mr. Berlet started in business here about three years ago and was well qualified by experience and ability to make a success of his undertaking, and a success he has made for he has built up one of the finest trades in the County. The stock carried here is carefully selected and embraces all the leading lines and novelties in foreign and domestic tailoring cloths. Of Mr. Berlet's abilities it is unnecessary for us to speak as his work well shows for itself. We are pleased to note the success attending this business as well believe it is well deserved.

    A SWELL RIG.

"My Valet," V. M. Berlet, the enterprising tailor of Waterloo, now owns the swellest delivery outfit in the Twin-City and few of its equal are to be found in Ontario, only in the larger cities. It is a rubber-tired rig, handsomely painted and beautifully finished with large oblong mirrors on each side and is not only credit to Mr. Berlet, but to the maker, Mr. J.R. Kaufman. The new harness and pony together with the driver are in keeping with the rig, which he will use in his call and delivery service in connection with his cleaning and repairing department. Mr. Berlet will give special attention to garments needing repairing, sponging, pressing, etc. A dollar a month paid quarterly in advance will entitle gentleman to a weekly service.
