At St. Mary's Hospital, on Sunday, Jan. 6, 1974, after a lengthy illness, Gordon Homer Otterbein, a resident of the Twin Cities, for many years, age 62 years, born in Rosebank, a son of the late Noah Otterbein and the former Albertina Witmer; Mr. Otterbein was a member of Faith Missionary Church and had been formerly employed at Uniroyal Co. Ltd. Tire Division and the Canadian Tire Associate Store of Kitchener; veteran of the Second World War; brother of Wesley and Amanda (Mrs. Joseph Diehl), both of Kitchener, Hugh, Livonia, Mich.; Earl, Listowel; Elizabeth (Mrs. Alfred Vander), Strathroy: Lucy (Mrs. Reuben Eby) and Stella (Mrs. Otto Feick), St. Catharines. Mr. Otterbein was predeceased by two sisters and one brother. Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. West, Kitchener afternoon, on Tuesday. Funeral and committal service in the chapel, Wednesday, at 3 p.m., with Rev. Willis Bunking officiating. Interment Memory Gardens.
