PEREIRA, Filomena Freitas
Passed away suddenly, at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Friday, May 27, 2011, at the age of 79. Beloved wife of Jose Pereira. Loving sister of Gloria Raposo and Leonor De Freitas. Will be sadly missed by good friends, Luis and Margaret Ferreira, Jose and Maria Mancebo, Jose and Alcina Escobar and many in her church community. Filomena was a long time member of Our Lady of Fatima Roman Catholic Church and the Portuguese Club. Resting at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas Street, Cambridge, where the family will receive friends on Monday, May 30, 2011, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Rosary will be recited at the funeral home on Monday evening, at 8:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial, will be recited at Our Lady of Fatima R.C. Church, Elgin St. S. Cambridge, on Tuesday, May 31, 2011, at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Mount View Cemetery.
