Born in Santa Maria, Azores, passed away, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Saturday, March 6, 2004, at the age of 98. Beloved husband of the late Angelina (Reis) and loving father of Adriana Resendes and Victor Resendes and his wife Liduiana, both of Cambridge. Dear grandfather of Paul and Tracy Resendes of Burlington and Steven and Dimetra Resendes of Cambridge. Loving great-grandfather of Michael Resendes of Burlington. Mr. Resendes is also survived by many relatives in Canada, the United States and Santa Maria, Azores. Mr. Resendes rested at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas St., Cambridge, where the family received friends on Sunday, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial, will be celebrated from Our Lady of Fatima RC Church, Elgin St., Cambridge, on Monday, March 8, 2004, (today), at 10 a.m., Father A. Cunha celebrant. Interment, Mount View Cemetery, Cambridge.
