MASSEL, Lu Amelia (nee Henning)

Passed away peacefully, on Thursday, September 13, 2018, at St. Joseph's Villa, Dundas in her 78th year. Beloved wife and best friend of Lorne for 41 years. Lu will be dearly missed by her much loved Yorkie "Shelly". She will also be lovingly remembered by her stepchildren; Kristine Gordon (Ron) and Richard Massel and their families, her siblings Victor Henning (Diane), Carla Henning, Philip Henning (Brenda), Joy Henning (Joe Moon), and Paul Henning (Flechane) and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Oscar and Theresa Henning and her brother, Oscar Jr. Lu was a great lover of all animals, especially the strays. Relatives and friends are invited to a time of Visitation at the T. Little Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, Cambridge on Wednesday, September 19, 2018, from 11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. and the Celebration of Life Service in the T. Little Chapel, at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at Parklawn Cemetery.
