HEWITT, John James "Jack"

March 13, 1931 - December 17, 2013. It is with great sadness that the family of John announce his peaceful passing, surrounded by his wife and two sons, at the Lisaard House on Tuesday, December 17, 2013, at the age of 82. Loving and devoted husband of Audrey Hewitt (nee Dean) who together shared 46 years of marriage. Cherished father of Arnold and Brad. Special brother of Barry of Haileybury, ON and Helen Miller of Cambridge, ON, as well as his brother and sister-in-law, Walter and Emeline Gosse. John will also be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Predeceased by his parents John Sr. and Sadie Hewitt (nee Burton) and his sister, Joyce Healey. John was a 33 year employee of Franklin Manufacturing and will be missed by his former co-workers. Cremation has taken place. A private family interment will be held at Mount View Cemetery, Cambridge, in the spring.
