    MRS. C. T. NOECKER

    Mrs. Roxana H. Noecker, 76, wife of. Dr. C. T. Noecker, wellknown Waterloo physician and medical health officer, died at her home, 54 Albert street, Waterloo, about 1 a.m. today. Mrs. Noecker had been ill for the past six months. She was born at Hawkesville, June 9, 1862, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Brooks Wakefield Edmunds. Her marriage to Dr. Noecker took place in Hawkesville.

    Surviving are her husband, one son, Claude E. Noecker, Waterloo municipal engineer, and one daughter, Eloise E. Noecker, at home. One sister, Miss Mary Edmunds of Kitchener, also survives.

    The funeral will be held Wednesday at 2.30 from the residence to Woodland Cemetery for interment. Rev. E. Val Tilton, pastor of First United church, Waterloo, will conduct the services. The remains will rest at Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home until 2 o'clock tomorrow.

    Notes:

    Eloise Noecker, became a school teacher with the board, introducing the new subject of home economics when Elizabeth Ziegler Public School was opened in 1931.

    Miss Eloise E.. Noecker, 54 Albert St., Waterloo, died Saturday at K-W Hospital following an illness of three months.

    Born in Waterloo, she was a daughter of the late Dr. and Mrs. Charles T. Noceker. Mrs. Noecker was the former Roxana Edmunds.

    An aunt, Mrs. Minnie Fenton of Elmira, survives.

    A brother, Claude Noecker, predeceased her.

    The body is at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, Waterloo, where the funeral will be conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. Entombment will be in Woodland Mausoleum. Rev. A. R. Cragg of First United Church, Waterloo, will officiate.

    Claude Necker Dies in Hospital

    Claude Necker, 54. Waterloo town engineer since 1925 and an employee of the engineering department since he was 14, died last night at Victoria Hospital, London, Ont.

    Mr. Necker, who had been in poor health for some time, motored to Grand Bend over the weekend to open his summer cottage. He became seriously ill at a Grand Bend hotel and was removed to London hospital Monday night. dying last evening without regaining consciousness.

    Deceased, who resided at 94 John Blvd., Waterloo, was graduated in 1916 as a civil engineer from the University of Toronto. Prior to becoming town engineer he worked as an assistant to the late Charles G. Moogk.

    Born in Waterloo on Jan. 12, 1892. he was a son of the late Dr. C. T and Mrs. Noecker He attended First United Church and was a member of Waterloo Young Men's Club.

    Surviving are his wife, the former Edna C. Weitzel, and one sister Eloise E. Necker, Waterloo.

    The remains are resting at the Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home where service will be held Friday at 2:30 pm. with Rev. D I. Forsyth officiating, assisted by Dr. H. A Kellerman. Interment will be in Chesterfield Cemetery.

    Claude married Edna Elizabeth Weitzel 3 Nov 1930. Edna (daughter of John R. Weitzel and Annie Laura Ross) was born 11 May 1902, Blenheim Twp., Oxford Co., Ontario, Canada; died 17 May 1950, RR2, Hespeler, Waterloo Region, Ontario; was buried , Chesterfield United Cemetery, Chesterfield, Oxford Co., Ontario.
