CHARLES HANDORF

The death occurred suddenly on Saturday evening of Charles Handorf, in his 72nd year, at his residence, 541 William street. Deceased was born in Germany and came to Canada 40 years ago. He was a resident of Preston for a number of years and was an employee of the Pattison Woollen Mill. He is survived by his wife, a brother and sister in Germany and a brother, Lewis of Clairview and two step-children, James Grobe and Mrs. Albert Dawe. The funeral was held this afternoon at 2.30 o'clock from his residence to the Preston cemetery. Rev. W . Knauff officiated. Pallbearers were: Messrs. Allan Kinder, Deputy-Reeve William Reid, Karl K. Homuth, Reeve Robert Bieth, D. Newstead and Louis Taylor.
