    WELLESLEY, July 12 - Following an illness of about two months, Conrad Quehl, 83, died at his home here last night. Born in nearby Ratzburg, Nov. 6, 1862, he had been engaged in farming around Wellesley almost all his life. He was a member of St. Paul's Canada Lutheran Church, Wellesley. Surviving are his wife, the former Caroline Seyler, and three sons, William, Robert and Edward, all of Wellesley. The remains are resting at Futher's Funeral Home here until ten o'clock tomorrow morning, when they will be removed to his late residence. A private funeral service will be held at his home at two o'clock Sunday afternoon, followed by a public service at about 2: 30 pm in St. Paul's Church, with Rev. Herbert Binhammer in charge. Interment will be made in St. Paul's Cemetery.

    WELLESLEY, May 3. William Quehl. 55. lifelong farmer of this district, died early this morning at his home on the Bamberg Rd. He had been in poor health for some time but became seriously ill two days ago.

    Mr. Quehl was born at Amulree in 1892, a son of the late Conrad Quehl and Caroline Seyler. both of whom died last year. In 1919 he was married to Elizabeth Schmidt of Heidelberg.

    Surviving besides his wife are two sons Howard and Norbert, at home: two brothers, Robert and Edward, realding on the Bamberg Rd.

    The funeral will be held Monday afternoon with a short service at the home at 2 o'clock followed by a memorial service at 2:30 at St. Paul's Canadian Lutheran Church, Wellesley, of which Mr. Quehl was a member The Rev. Herbert Binhammer will be in charge, Until the funeral, the body will be at the family home.

    QUEHL, Robert D. - Peacefully, on Saturday, Sept. 8, 1990, at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, Robert Daniel Quehl, of 48 Henry St. E., Wellesley. Rob was born in North Easthope township, 95 years ago, a son of the late Conrad Quehl and the late Caroline Seyler. Lifelong member of St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church, where he served on church council for 10 years. Also served on church council for 10 years. Also served in the armed forces in the First World War. Rob and his wife had farmed at RR 3, Wellesley, retiring in 1970. Beloved husband of Viola Eydt Quehl of Wellesley; beloved father of Royal and his wife Margaret Quehl of RR 3, Wellesley. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Robert and Nadine Quehl. Predeceased by two brothers, William and his twin brother, Edward. Visitation at the Further Bros. Funeral Home, 40 Henry St., Wellesley, where the family will receive their friends today (Monday) from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. At 9 am Tuesday, Sept. 11, removal will be made to St. Mark's Lutheran Church for the funeral service at 11 am, Pastor Wilmer Minke will officiate. Interment will follow in St. Mark's Lutheran Cemetery, Wellesley.

    WELLESLEY After being in ill health for several months, Howard Quehl, 32, of Wellesley, died suddenly last night at his home on the Bamberg road. Born Feb. 27, 1921, he was the son of Mrs. Eliza: beth Quehl and the late William Quehl. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Wellesley.

    One brother, Norbert, at home, survives, besides his mother.

    Private funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the home with public services at 2:30 p.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Rev. H. Binhammer and Rev. A. W. Lotz will officiate and burial will be in St. Paul's cemetery. The body is at the Futher Funeral Home until Sunday at 1 p.m. when it will be taken to the residence.

    QUEHL, Norbert Edward passed away at Pinehaven Nursing Home, Waterloo, Ontario on Tuesday, August 17, 2021, after a long life in his 97th year. Born in Wellesley Township on June 27, 1924, he was the son of the late William Quehl and Elizabeth (Schmidt) Quehl. Predeceased by his wife Eileen Anna (Hammer) Quehl and brother Howard Quehl. Norbert is survived by his daughters Shirley Quehl of Waterloo and Elaine Quehl (Peter Au) of Ottawa, Ontario. Norbert farmed in Wellesley Township most of his life, until retiring to the village of Wellesley in 1978. Special thanks to the compassionate care staff at Pinehaven Nursing Home during the past six years. Cremation through the FurtherFranklin Funeral Home, Wellesley, followed by private interment at St. Mark's Lutheran Cemetery, Wellesley. Due to the current Covid situation there will be no funeral. Lorne was born in Wellesley Township, February 1, 1930. Son of the late Edward H. Quehl and the late Nellie Hoffman. Loving and caring father of Sharon Quehl-Keating and husband John and his grandsons, Johnathan and Riley. Dear brother of Ruby and her husband Lorne Hackbart of Wellesley. Remembered by nieces, Sandra Quehl and Heather Watts, Sherry Quehl, Lynda Timms (Hackbart) and husband Laurie, Brenda Dinsmore (Hackbart) and husband Jamie. Predeceased by brother, Ralph Quehl and wife Miriam. Special thanks to the staff of St. Mary's General Hospital and St. Jacob's Place for taking great care of our Lorne.
