    BADEN, Oct. 29. Mrs. Leah Wagler, R.R. 1, Baden, died yesterday. Death followed a lingering illness.

    She was born in 1879, at St Agatha, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Litwiller.

    The deceased woman attended Steinman A.M. Church. In 1898 she married Aaron Wagler at St. Agatha. He predeceased her in 1936.

    There are three sons, Allen, and Eldon at home, and Milton of Baden. Two daughters, Miss Elmina, Wagler and Mrs. Harvey (Edna) Wagler of Wellesley also survive. There is a sister. Miss Katie Litwiller of St. Agatha.

    There are also 10 grandchildren. A public funeral service will be held from the late residence at 2.15p.m. Burial will be at Steinman Cemetery with Bishop Moses O. Jantzi officiating.

    The body is resting at the late residence.

    Wagler, Eldon, son of Aaron and Leah (Litwiller) Wagler, was born in Wilmot Twp., Ont., May 25, 1901; died in Wilmot Twp., Jan. 13, 1982; aged 80 y. On Nov. 1, 1950, he was married to Almeda Gingerich, who survives. Also surviving are one son (Ralph), 3 grandchildren, one brother (Allen), and one sister (Elmina). Funeral services were held at the Steinman Mennonite Church on Jan. 16, in charge of Vernon B. Zehr and Fred Lichti; interment in the adjoining cemetery.

    WAGLER, Eldon\emdash Died Wednesday, Jan. 13, 1982, at his residence, Eldon Wagler, of RR 2, Baden, aged 80 years.
    He was a member of Steinman Mennonite Church and was the son of the late Aaron Wagler and the late Leah Littwiller.
    Beloved husband of the former Almeda Gingerich; lovingly remembered by one son, Ralph and his wife Caroline; grandchildren, Jeffrey, Dwayne and Angela, all of RR 2, Baden; one brother, Allen of Baden; one sister, Elmina of Nithview Home, New Hamburg. He was predeceased by two brothers, Milton and Irvin; two sisters, Elda and Edna.
    Resting at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, New Hamburg Chapel, 291 Huron St., after 7 p.m. this evening, and until Saturday noon, when removal will be made to Steinman Mennonite Church, RR 2 Baden for service at 2:30 p.m., with Rev. Vernon Zehr officiating. Interment in the church cemetery.
    As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Western Ontario Mennonite Mission Board or the Ontario Heart Foundation.

    WAGLER, Allen - On Sunday, January 12, 1992, at K-W Hospital, Kitchener, Allen Wager, of Baden.

    He was born in Wilmot Township 87 years ago, a son of the late Aaron Wagler and the former Leah Litwiller. He was a member of Steinmann Mennonite Church, R.R. 2, Baden and a member of the Especially for Seniors, Baden. Allen enjoyed gardening has his hobby.

    Lovingly remembered by his wife, the former Sarah Gingerich. Sadly missed by his sister, Elmina Wagler of New Hamburg; his sisters-in-law, Adeline and her husband Ezra Gerber of Millbank, Mrs. Alemeda Wagler of R.R. 2, Baden, Melinda and her husband Harold Hofstetter of R.R. 2, Petersburg, Mrs. Fannie Gingerich of New Hamburg; his brother-in-law, Rudy Gingerich and his wife Edna of Baden. Also remembered by a number of nieces and nephews.

    Allen was predeceased by three brothers, Ervin, Eldon and Milton and two sisters, Alda and Mrs. Edna Wagler and two brothers-in-law, Harvey Wagler and Rueben Gingerich.

    Friends and relatives may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron St., New Hamburg, after 7 p.m. tonight (Monday) and until Wednesday at noon, when transfer will be made to Steinmann Mennonite Church for the service at 2 p.m. with Pastor Fred Lichti and Mahlon Gerber officiating. Interment in the church cemetery.

    Wagler.- Edna, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Wagler, was born in Waterloo Co., May 29, 1909; died of a heart attack at Nithview Home, New Hamburg, Ont., Dec. 7, 1976; aged 67 y. On Aug. 15, 1937, she was married to Harvey Wagler, who preceded her in death on July 24, 1962. Surviving are 8 sons (Milton, Ray, Erwin, Edward, Delford, Delton, Harvey, and Laverne), 2 daughters (Mary-Mrs. Norman Harrison, and Mrs. Ruth Gallan), 17 grandchildren, 2 brothers (Allan and Elton Wagler), and one sister (Elmina Wagler).     WAGLER, Mrs. Harvey\emdash Of 97 Snyders Road, Baden, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 7, 1976, at Nithview Home, New Hamburg. She was the former Edna Wagler. Born in Baden 67 years ago. She was a member of St. Agatha Mennonite Church. Resident of Nithview for the past three years.
    Daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Wagler.
    Beloved mother of Milton of Washington, Ont., Ray, Ervin and Edward, of Kitchener, Delford, New Hamburg, Delton, Route 1, Wellesley, Harvey of Hickson and Laverne of Vancouver, B.C., Mary (Mrs. Norman Harrison) of New Dundee, Mrs. Ruth Gallan of Kitchener; dear sister of Allan and Elton Wagler, both of Baden and Elmina Wagler of New Hamburg; also survived by 17 grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Harvey July 24, 1962 and also by one brother Milton.
    Friends may call at the Futher Bros. Funeral Home, Wellesley where family will receive friends Wednesday from 7 to 9 and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Noon Friday, Dec. 10 the remains will be removed to the St. Agatha Mennonite Church for the funeral service at 3 p.m. Rev. Nelson Martin and Rev. Gerald Schwartzentruber will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

    WAGLER, Miss Elmina\emdashOn Monday Feb. 1, 1993, at her residence Nithview Home, New Hamburg.
    She was formerly of RR 2, Baden and was born 87 years ago in Wilmot township. She was a daughter of the late Aaron and Leah (nee Litwiller) Wagler and was the last surviving member of her family. Elmina was a member of Steinmann Mennonite Church, RR 2, Baden and was educated at Belleville School for the Deaf. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and many handy crafts as her hobbies.
    Lovingly remembered by two sisters-in-law, Almeda Wagler of RR 2, Baden and Sarah Wagler of Baden. She will also be missed by a number of nieces and nephews.
    Elmina was predeceased by four brothers, Erwin, Eldon, Milton, Allen and two sisters, Alda and Edna (Mrs. Harvey Wagler).
    Friends and relatives may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron St., New Hamburg, after 2 p.m. Wednesday and until Thursday at noon when transfer will be made to Steinmann Mennonite Church for the service at 2:30 p.m., with Pastor Vernon Zehr officiating.     NOSAL, Audrey Katherine (Wagler) - Audrey passed away peacefully, on Saturday, August 4, 2007. A daughter of the late Milton and Alice (Miller) Wagler, Audrey grew up in Baden, on Louisa Street, and was a very special sister to her "little brother" Murray, who predeceased her July 31, 1997. Audrey was a devoted wife to the late Ted Nosal of Kitchener, and mother to Tom Nosal and his wife Pat, of Nobleford, Alberta. Aunt Audrey will be especially remembered with much love and great memories by her sister-in-law Fran Wagler of Baden, and her nephews and nieces, Sandy and Wendy Wagler, Randy and Debby Wagler, Angela and Kevin Shantz, Sharon and Scott Horst, Melanie and Kirk Sabo, Jennifer and Brian Wallace, Tricia Wagler and John Doyle, and their families. Always thinking of others first, Audrey had many dear friends and neighbours through the years, as well as caring relatives with whom she shared many special times. Burial has taken place at Woodland Cemetery, Kitchener. Treasure her Lord in Heaven above, for here on earth she was dearly loved!

    WAGLER, Delton David - Suddenly, on Saturday, April 20, 1985, as the result of a car/truck accident, on Highway 86, west of Elmira, Delton David Wagler, of RR 3, Wellesley. Delton was born in Baden 44 years ago.

    He was the son of the late Harvey and Edna Wagler.

    He was the owner/operator of the Del Wagler Construction Ltd; he also had a great love for harness racing; he was the owner and trainer of many race horses; a member of the Ontario Harness Horseman's Association; also a member of the Wilmot Mennonite Church.

    Beloved husband of the former Mary Jean McGillawee of RR 3, Wellesley; dear father of Susan, Bonnie and Lisa, all at home; loving brother of Milton and Ray, both of Kitchener, Delford of RR 1, Wellesley, Harvey of Hickson, Ervin of RR 2, Baden, Laverne of the Canadian Armed Forces, Base Borden, Edward of Baden, Mary (Mrs. Norman Harrison) of New Dundee, Ruth (Mrs. Ray Gallan) of Kitchener.     Mary Eileen Harrison (Wagler), passed away at 11:00 a.m. Monday,May 2, 2022 in her 85th year. She was a resident of Nithview Long Term Care Home for over 6 years although she suffered for many years from dementia, while being cared for at home. Thankfully, she is now at peace and no longer being ravaged by this disease.

    Mary leaves behind her loving and devoted husband Norman, of over 63 years, who was by her side daily throughout her prolonged illness. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Christine (Jim), Robb (Maria), Mark (Danny), grandchildren Amy, Shannon (Phil), Dana (Mary-Catherine), Faith, Nik (Tat), Kristi (Zach) and great grandchildren, Rilyn, Paige and Clarke. She is predeceased by brothers Delton (Mary), Laverne (Sonya) and Delford (Evelyn). Mary is survived and will be missed by Milton, Ray, Harvey, Ervin, Ruth (Jim) and Ed (Sue) and her many nieces, nephews and their children.

    Mary lived a life of love, surrounded by family, friends and community. She was a Brownie Leader for years, volunteered at Planned Parenthood and held various jobs, including that of a school bus driver. Despite having only an eighth grade education, Mary put herself through college to become a social worker and began working at St. Monica House. Later she obtained a second certificate in gerontology and began working at RAISE Home Support (later called Community Support Connections), where she retired at age 62. She will always be remembered by all who were lucky enough to know her as kind, compassionate and caring.

    Mary's family would like to thank the staff at Nithview Home for their care and support these past years. Many thanks to those who took Mary, and the whole family, under their wings during her illness and passing. As well, there were a number of private PSWs who cared for Mary, and the family is especially grateful for the compassion and love shown by Mary-Catharine, Margot and Simijit.

    Relatives and friends are invited to the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron Street, New Hamburg, on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will take place in the chapel of the funeral home, on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation will follow with a private graveside service at the Union Cemetery, New Dundee.
    A live stream of the funeral will be available for those unable to attend. Masks are mandatory in the funeral home as per family request.

    A celebration of life is being planned for Saturday, June 11th at the New Dundee Community Centre. Details to follow.

    As expressions of sympathy, donations to Mennonite Central Committee would be appreciated by the family.
