    WAGLER. Emma, daughter of the late Samuel and Mary (Erb) Brenneman, was born June 10, 1902, in Wellesley Twp., Ont., Canada, and died in her home in Lisbon, Ont., Sept. 15, 1979, at the age of 77 years, 3 months and 4 days. In her youth she accepted Christ and was baptized as a member of Cedar Grove A. M. congregation, where she remained until her death. On Feb. 3, 1923, she was married to Amos Wagler, who predeceased her on May 27, 1945, leaving her a widow for over 34 years. She leaves to mourn her departure 3 sons, Daniel of Stratford, Omer of Wellesley, and Norman of Wellesley; also 7 daughters, Mrs. Earl (Marie) Bender, Crosshill; Mrs. John (Vera) Dyck, Bancroft; Mrs. Elmer (Edna) Ropp, Brunner; Mrs. Roy (Esther) Scherrer, Millbank; Mrs. Wayne (Florence) Borodula, Kamloops, B.C.; and Eileen at home; 44 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren; also 2 brothers, Ezra of Wellesley, Daniel of Lisbon, and 2 sisters, Catherine, widow of the late Bishop Samuel Roth, and Bena of Lisbon. She was predeceased by her husband, 1 brother Menno, and 1 sister in infancy. Services were held on Sept. 18, at the Cedar Grove A. M. church, by Bishop Arthur Gerber and Min. Melvin Jantzi. Burial in the adjoining cemetery.

    BRENNEMAN, EZRA

    Peacefully, on Thursday, August 6, 1992, at his home, Country Meadows, Brunner, Ezra Brenneman, formerly of 21 Lawrence St., Wellesley. Mr. Brenneman was born in Wellesley Township 88 years ago. Son of the late Samuel Brenneman and the late Mary Eby. Ezra was a member of the Cedar Grove Amish Mennonite Church, and had farmed at RR 1 Millbank, retiring to Wellesley in 1964. Ezra was also a well known vendor of 33 years at the Kitchener Farmers' Market. Beloved husband of the former Emma Gerber of Country Meadows, Brunner; dear father of Laura and her husband Maynard Nafziger, Norma and her husband Murray Nafziger, both of Brunner and Vernon and his wife Norma Brenneman of RR 1 Millbank. Remembered by a sister-in-law, Mrs. Mary Brenneman of RR1 Gads Hill. Cherished grandpa of 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by two brothers, Menno and Dan; by three sisters, Emma Wagler, Catherine Roth and Bena Brenneman and by two grandchildren, Edward and David Nafziger. Visitation at the Futher Bros. Funeral Home, 40 Henry St, Wellesley, where the family will receive friends this evening (Friday) from 7-9 p.m. and Saturday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A family service will be conducted at the funeral home on Sunday, August 9 at p.m. followed by the funeral service at the Cedar Grove Amish Mennonite Church at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Bishop Arthur Gerber will officiate. Memorials to Christian Printing Missions or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy for the late Ezra Brenneman.

    BRENNEMAN, Daniel -- On Wednesday, Nov. 28, 1979, at his home in Lisbon, Daniel E. Brenneman, of Route 1, Wellesley. He was born in Wellesley Township 74 years ago.

    He was the son of the late Samuel Brenneman and the late Mary Erb. Member of Cedar Grove Amish Mennonite Church, Wellesley. He farmed in wellesley Township, retiring in 1972.

    Beloved husband of the former Lena Gerber; dear father of Mahlon of Cambridge, Earl of Route 1, Millbank, Annie (Mrs. Emmanuel Ropp) and Mary (Mrs. Jacob Jantzi), both of Route 1, Wellesley, and Vera (Mrs. Daniel Lichty) of Route 4, Brussels, and Dorothy (Mrs. Delmar Lichti) of Route 1, Millbank; brother of Ezra Brenneman, of Wellesley and Katie (Mrs. Sam Roth) and Bena Brenneman, both of Route 1, Wellesley. Also survivrd by 13 grandchildren. He was predeceased one brother and two sisters.

    Visitation at the Futher Bros. Funeral Home, Wellesley. Family will receive friends this evening from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Family service will be conducted at the funeral home on Saturday, Dec. 1, at 1 p.m., follows by the funeral service at Cedar Grove Amish Mennonite Church at 2 p.m., Bishop Arthur Gerber officiating.

    Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation at the Futher Bros. funeral Home, Wellesley, after 7 p.m. this evening, where family service will be conducted on Friday, Nov.6, at 1 p.m., to be followed by the funeral service at the Cedar Grove Amish Mennonite Church, at 2 p.m., Bishop Arthur Gerber officiating. Interment to follow in the church cemetery.

Predeceased by her parents Menno Brenneman and Mary (nee Wagler), grandson Jimmy Roth (1988), her sister and brothers and sisters-in-law; Eva Lichti (Abner), Mary Jantzi (Simeon), Sarah Gerber (Ohmer), Annie Jantzi (David), Mahlon Roth (Mary), Sam Roth (Anna Mae), Laurene Nafziger (Ivan), Ohmer Wagler and Ruth Shantz. Cora enjoyed her needle point, gardening and spending time with family and friends. She was a faithful member of Maple View Mennonite Church. Friends may call at Maple View Mennonite Church, 5074 Deborah Glaister Line, Wellesley on Saturday, (today) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the church on Sunday, February 14, 2016 at 2:30 p.m. Pastor Brent Kipfer officiating. Dan was born on December 23, 1923 in Crosshill, Ontario to the late Emma (Brenneman) and Amos Wagler.

    He spent his early working days building what would become the Trans Canada highway and regaled his family for years with 'we built that bridge'. He eventually moved to Stratford, Ontario where he worked for Gaffney Construction for over 30 years, retiring in 1992. Dan was a member of the Worldwide Church of God and enjoyed reading, playing Scrabble and Solo, gardening, telling a good story, listening to music and watching the Habs dominate the Leafs. Friends and relatives may call at the W.G. Dear grandmother of Amanda, Lori and Ryan Jantzi, Leah Wagler, Wendall Wagler and Chad Wagler. Will be sadly missed by her parents, Elmer and Edna Ropp as well as her brothers, Laverne (Elaine), Stephen (Rosemary), Donald (Laurie), James (Mary Ellen), Larry (Susan) and Andrew (Wanda). Friends may call at the Futher-Franklin Funeral Home , 1172 Henry Street, Wellesley, on Sunday 7-9 p.m. and Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Cedar Grove Amish Mennonite Church, Wellesley, on Tuesday, August 12, 2008 at 2 p.m. Interment to follow in the Cedar Grove Amish Mennonite Cemetery.
