    Death of Mr. Sydney Stork - The death occurred at Winnipeg on Sunday morning, after a short illness with erysipelas, of Mr. Sydney Stork, a former resident of Ayr. The deceased was teller in the Bank of Commerce here for several years and during his sojourn in this village was united in marriage with Miss Merle Frazer, of Ayr, who, with a daughter, Euileen, survives. Mr. Stork hailed from Belleville, where his father was manager of the Bank of Commerce for many years. Mrs. Stork has gone to Belleville to attend the funeral.

    Miss Eileen Stork Passes

    The death occurred on Saturday at her home in Ayr of Miss Eileen Stork, 49, daughter of Mrs. Merle Stork and the late Sydney Stork. The late Miss Stork was a life-long resident of this village, where she had resided with her mother on Northumberland street. Although sightless from birth, she was a clever music student and gained proficiency on the piano. She also mastered the conventional typewriter which she operated skilfully. The late Miss Stork was an adherent of the Anglican faith and, though unable to attend services, devoted each Sunday to religious radio programs. She is survived only by her mother. Her father passed away 23 years ago.

    The Funeral

    The private funeral service was held at the W. 0. Ball Funeral Parlor on Monday, conducted by Canon H. B. Ashby. Interment was made in the Ayr Cemetery. Pall-bearers were Reid Leonard, Henry Bechtel, John A. W. Bell, Lloyd Henderson, Carl Weitzel and Arthur Underwood
