    An invalid for nine years, Elenora C. Koebel, 34, of St. Clements died at her residence Tuesday. Deceased was born in St. Clements on April 30, 1905, a daughter of William Z. Koebel and Theresa Dietrich. Miss Koebel was a member of St. Clements R.C. church and a member of the Sodality Sacred Heart. Surviving are her mother, four brothers. Sylvester, Leander. William and Seraphine, all of St. Clements, four sisters. Caroline and Olive of St. Clements. Irene of Kitchener and Sister Ancella. Notre Dame convent. Kithener. Funeral services were held from the residence this (Friday) morning to St. Clements church at 9.30 o'clock with interment in St. Clements Cemetery.

    KOEBEL, William

    Passed away at Marian Residence, Cambridge, on Thursday, June 13, 2002, at the age of 91 years. Survived by his brother, Seraphim Koebel of Kitchener and his sister, Sister Teresa Koebel of Waterloo. Predeceased by his brothers, Sylvester and Leander and his sisters, Caroline, Eleanor, Irene and Olive. Mr. Koebel's family will receive relatives and friends at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Saturday, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and on Sunday, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A morning prayer service will be held at the funeral home, on Monday, June 17, 2002, at 9: 45 a.m., followed by the Mass of Christian Burial, at Saint Clement RC Church in St. Clements at 10: 30 a.m., with Rev. Lloyd Ryan as Celebrant. Interment to follow, in Saint Clement RC Cemetery, St. Clements. A reception at the church hall, will follow the interment.

    SERAPHIM GEORGE KOEBEL

    "CY" 1919 - 2008 Peacefully on Tuesday January 8, 2008, age 89. Seraphim served as a soldier in the Second World War where he met and married his beloved wife of 53 years, the late Clasina Maria Van Aalst (1998). Loving father of Janet (David) Beitz and Surf Koebel (Debra Wilson). He is also lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Stephen (Mandy) Beitz, Julie (Jeff) Crossman, Jaclyn (Scott) MacDonald and Shannon and Sheena Koebel. Proud great-grandfather of Rachael and Rebecca Beitz, and Dean and Samantha Crossman. Friends are invited to share their memories of Seraphim with his family at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo on Friday January 11, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial in celebration of Seraphim's life will be held at St. Aloysius RC Church, 11 Traynor Avenue, Kitchener on Saturday January 12, 2008 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Brian Quigley as celebrant. Interment in Erb Street Mennonite Cemetery. Reception will follow in the Parish Hall. Condolences for the family and donations to Canadian Cancer Society may be arranged through the funeral home, 519-745-8445 or www.erbgood.com. In living memory of Seraphim, a tree will be planted through the Trees for Learning Program by the funeral home.
