    Helen Raymond 1917-2011- Passed away peacefully at Columbia Forest Long Term Care Centre on Sunday, January 9, 2011 at the age of 93.

    Beloved wife of the late Garfield (1995); Loving mother of Carol and Joanne Raymond. Sadly missed by sisters Louise, and Lorraine, and brothers Earl (Charlotte), Ed (Carol), Art, and Stan Otterbein. Sister-in-law to Lester and Onnerene Brox. Survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by one sister Marie Herter.

    Born in Kitchener, on October 29, 1917 to the late Valentine and Hermina Otterbein. She enjoyed floral arranging and managed Raymond's Flower Shop for over 30 years. She was a Charter member of Mount Zion Lutheran Church. Helen enjoyed gardening, sewing and knitting. She also enjoyed travelling with her husband Garfield in their younger years.

    The family wishes to thank the staff at Columbia Forest Long Term Care Centre for their compassionate care of Helen during her stay there.

    Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Erb & Good Family Funeral Home (171 King St. South, Waterloo) on Thursday, January 13, 2011 from 7-9 p.m. Visitation to continue on Friday, January 14, 2011 from 1-1:45 p.m. A funeral service to follow in the funeral home chapel at 2p.m. with the Rev. Dr. Mark Harris officiating. Reception will immediately follow the funeral. Interment in Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo.

    Obituary of Louisa (Otterbein) Riepert

    100 years, of Chatham, formerly of Kitchener Waterloo, passed away peacefully April 5th, 2020 at Riverview Gardens , Chatham. Mother of Judy (Brian) Taylor, James (Donna), John and the late Lorne (late Di). Grandmother of 7 grandchildren, 13 great-grand children, and 6 great-great-grandchildren. Also survived by brothers Arthur (late Ann), Edward (Carol), and Stanley (late Barbra) and the late Earl (Charlotte), predeceased by her sisters Helen (Garfield) Raymond, Lorraine (Lincoln) Bolduc and Marie (William) Herter. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Louisa had a strong faith in God and enjoyed time with her loving family. She had a talent for lifting the spirits of those around her. She was the first female to be hired, on the bottling line, at Seagram's Distillery and was a dedicated employee for 29 years. According to Louisa's wishes cremation has taken place.

Loving nana to Kimberly Friedrich (Anthony), Shayne Keary (Andrea), Chad Keary (Nicky), Tricia Fulcher (Ken) and Travis Bolduc (Kelly). Great-grand- mother of Jacob and Owen Fulcher, Leelind and Jonah Keary, Brenda Conyers, Evan, Carter and baby Keary, Addison and Hayden Bolduc. Chosen family of Alan and Mildred Schneider. Sister of Louise Riepert, Arthur of Sauble, Edward of Waterloo and Stanley of New Hamburg. Predeceased by husband Lincoln in 1985, parents Valentine and Hermina Otterbein, brother Earl and sisters Helen and Marie. At Lorraine's request cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, 519-745-9495 on Friday, April 4 at 11 a.m. with reception to follow in the Family Centre.     Passed away peacefully at Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital on Sunday, September 26, 2010 at the age of 86.

    Dearly loved mother of Dianne & (Larry) Tanner. Loving Grandmother to Michelle Servais of London, Sherri Tanner of Ottawa and Cindy Hicks of Ottawa. Great grandmother to Aidan, Sarah and Wesley. Marie was predeceased by her husband George Herter in l999. Survived by her sisters Helen Raymond, Louise Riepert, Lorraine Bolduc and brothers Earl (Charlotte) Otterbein, Art Otterbein, Eddy (Carol) Otterbein and Stan Otterbein. Will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.

    Marie was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. Marie was always friendly and loving to all people. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

    As Marie wished, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held in the chapel of the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October l, 2010.
