    AVERY, Sarah - At the Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Thursday February 5, 1998 in her 99th year. Beloved wife of the late John Avery (1979). Dear mother of Elizabeth and her husband Colin Packard of Cambridge and predeceased by a son William (Bill) Avery (1997). Also survived by her daughter-in-law Shirley Avery of Cambridge. Loving grandmother of Susan, Patti, and Janice, great-grandmother of Todd, Tara, Adam, Alexis, Sarah and Meagan. Sister of Elizabeth Ballantyne of Cambridge. Sarah was a member of The Order of Eastern Starr for 77 years and a lifetime member of The Rose of Sharon Chapter. Friends will be received at Coutts and Son Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrews St., Cambridge on Sunday from 7-9 p.m. Funeral and committal service will be conducted in the funeral home chapel on Monday February 9, 1998 at 11: 00 a.m. with Rev. Bill Gallagher officiating. Interment will follow in Mount View Cemetery. If desired, remembrances may be made to the Cambridge Memorial Hospital, "Palliative Care", 700 Coronation Blvd., Cambridge N1R 9Z9.

Dear brother of Elizabeth Packard and her husband Colin of Cambridge. Also lovingly remembered by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father John Avery (1979). A private family service will be conducted in the Chapel of Coutts and Son Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrews St., Cambridge on Saturday April 19, 1997 with Major George Allan officiating. Interment Mount View Cemetery, Cambridge. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Cambridge Memorial Hospital Foundation.
