    LORENTZ, Jerome (Scotty) It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Jerome (Scotty) Lorentz on Thursday, December 30, 2010 in his 97th year.

    Scotty was the beloved husband of Mary (nee Drexler) for 68 years.

    Much loved father of his five boys, Ron, Bob, Rick, Brian and his wife Debbie, and Jerry and his wife Joan.

    Adored grandpa to 13 grandchildren, and 13 great- grandchildren. Also remembered by his brother Oscar (Rose), his sister Ann Koebel, and the extended Drexler family.

    Predeceased by his infant daughter Judy Marie in 1950, daughters-in-law Joan and Marg, his parents, Jacob Lorentz and Mary Boegel, his brothers John, Tony, Clarence, Albert, Edward, sisters, Leona Voisin, Emily Hergott, Bernie Haffner, and Celeste Forwell.

    Scotty was a lifetime member of Maryhill Knights of Columbus.

    He owned and operated the Maryhill Feed Mill for 50 years. In those years, he was known to enjoy a glass or two of cider with many of the Maryhill Farmers. Family and friends all have a special story to tell about Scotty. The Lorentz family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday from 1-5 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Parish prayers 6 p.m. Sunday evening.

    Prayers will be offered from the funeral home at 9: 15 a.m. on Monday, January 3, 2011 followed by procession to St. Boniface R.C. Church, Maryhill for Jerome's Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Fr. Ronald Voisin officiating.

    Interment Maryhill Cemetery.

    As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Jackson and Carter Stoneman Therapy Fund would be appreciated by the family.

    Oscar John Lorentz
    1922 - 2017

    Passed away at Grand River Hospital on Monday December 18, 2017 at the age of 95 years. Oscar was the loving husband of 73 years to Rose Lorentz (nee) Nicoloff. Oscar was predeceased by 7 brothers and 6 sisters. He was also predeceased by his parents Jacob and Mary Lorentz (nee) Boegle. Oscar will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Oscar was a long time dedicated employee of B.F. Goodrich and enjoyed a long retirement of building cottages and enjoying time at the lake.

    Friends are invited to share their memories of Oscar with his family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Thursday December 21 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Parish Prayers will be held at 2 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church 49 Blueridge Ave, Kitchener, ON Friday December 22, 2017 at 11 a.m. with Fr. Tim Uniac, CR, as Celebrant. Reception to follow in the church hall. Interment to take place at Saint Clement RC Cemetery at 2:30 p.m.

    Romie was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Holy Name Society of Maryhill.
    He was the former owner of H & R Voisin Motors, Maryhill, Elmira and St. Clements.

    Romie's family will receive relatives and friends from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 12, 2019 and on Thursday, June 13, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467.     Hergott, Patrick J. (Patty) - Suddenly, as the result of a heart attack, at K-W Hospital, on Wednesday, Sept. 4, 1990, age 52 years, of 28 Voisin Cres., St. Clements. Mr. Hergott was born in St. Clements and was a son of the late Emily Lorentz and Wilfred Hergott. He owned and operated Voi-Gott Construction Limited of St. Clements and was a member of St. Clements RC Church. Beloved husband of Shirley Kropf; dear father of Bryon and his wife Shirley of Waterloo, Randy and his wife Sandy of Kitchener, Stephen and Donald and his wife Kathy, all of St. Clements. He is also lovingly remembered by five grandchildren, Melissa, Lori, Scott, Sarah and Tracey; five brothers, Tony and his wife Madelene, Edwin and his wife Shirley, all of Waterloo, Jack, Bill and his wife Marie, and Leonard and his wife Frances, all of St. Clements and three sisters, Deloras Siennan and her husband Francis, Betty Dietrich and her husband Clarence, all of Kitchener and Rose Marie Hergott of Elmira. He was predeceased by one brother, George and one sister, Rita Koebel. Mr. Hergott's family will receive friends at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today (Thursday) and 10 a.m. till 12 noon on Friday. Prayers will be offered at the funeral home on Friday at 12: 15 p.m., followed by the funeral mass at St. Clements RC Church at 1 p.m. on Friday, with Rev. W.L. Ryan officiating. Internment to follow in St. Clements RC cemetery. Donations to the Elmira and District Associations for Community Living would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy. The parish prayer service will be held at the funeral home this evening (Thursday) at 8 p.m.
