    YATTON.\emdash Mr. Josiah Martin of Yatton passed away on Friday, April 2Ist from an attack of pneumonia. Mr. Martin had been in ill health for some time suffering from asthma and a weak heart. He was 56 years old and resided In this community for the past thirty-one years. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Tilman Martin, from near Waterloo.

    He is survived by his widow, two adopted children, Mrs. Edwin Bowman, who resided with him and Mr. Melvin Bowman of the Macton district, five sisters, Mrs. Simeon Martin near Elmira, Mrs. Ezra Bauman near Hawkesville, Mrs. Israel Brubacher, third of Peel, Mrs. Isaac Bauman, fourth of Peel, Mrs. Urias Bauman, near Elmira. and four brothers, Edwin Martin, third of Peel, Allan Martin, Floradale, Ananias Martin, Waterloo and Tilman Martin, sixth of Peel.

    The funeral was held Monday morning to the townline Mennonite Church, near Macton, and was largely attended. Interment was made in the adjoining cemetery.

    Josiah married Susannah Bauman 19 Feb 1907, Waterloo Twp., Waterloo Region, Ontario, Canada. Susannah (daughter of Enoch M. Bauman and Susannah W. Martin) was born 12 May 1885, Woolwich Twp., Waterloo Region, Ontario, Canada; died 20 Aug 1944, Kitchener, Waterloo Region, Ontario, Canada; was buried , South Peel Old Order Mennonite Cemetery, Wallenstein, Peel Twp., Wellington Co., Ontario.
