    WEBER, Joe - Passed away peacefully at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener on Monday, April 20, 2009. He resided in New Hamburg, and was born 82 years ago, a son of the late Leo and Laura (Voisin) Weber. Joe was a licensed mechanic for 59 years. He was a loyal and proud employee of Erb Transport as a fleet manager from 1974 to 1993, then as an antique restorer from 1993 to 2009. Joe was a member of Holy Family RC Church, New Hamburg, and was an avid International truck restorer. He enjoyed boating, golf, hockey, and spending time with friends. Devoted husband of Nelda (Sugg) Weber, whom he married December 31, 1987, and the late Shirley (Haffner) Weber, who predeceased him in 1978. Cherished father of Wendy and Dave Weber of New Hamburg, and grandfather of Dustin and Cornelia, Cole, and Lauren. Step-father of Gerry and Margaret Brown of Port Dover, Marilyn and Irvin Faruzel of Waterloo, and Debbie and Dan Main of Barrie, and step-grandpa of Sean, Joey, Tim, Sam, Zuda, Kyla and Gunter, Kalen, Krista and Shane, and Patrick and Kathleen. Step-great-grandpa of Dali, Josh, Deborah and Allison. Dear brother-in-law of Clare and Marie Sugg of Kitchener, Ellen and Bill Kloepfer of Sudbury, Margery Haffner-Philips and Rick Philips of Kitchener, and Elsie Haffner of New Hamburg. Also remembered by many nieces and nephews. Joe was predeceased by brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Mildred and Carl Binkley, Ronald Haffner, Margaret and Bill Paterson, Leroy and Rachelle Sugg, and Irene Sugg. Relatives and friends may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home , 291 Huron St., New Hamburg today (Wednesday) from 1-4 and 6-9 p.m. On Thursday, April 23, 2009, prayers will be said at the funeral home at 10: 15 a.m. followed by the funeral mass at Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, New Hamburg at 11 a.m. with Father Jim Malone officiating. Burial to follow at Riverside Cemetery (Holy Family), New Hamburg. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to Holy Family Roman Catholic Church or St. Mary's Hospital, Cardiac Care Unit.
