WEBER, Alfred J. -- At St. Mary's Hospital, Monday, December 20, 1978, after a lengthy illness, Alfred Jacob Weber, of 68 John St., W., Waterloo, aged 81 years. Mr. Weber was born in St. Clements, a son of the late Michael Weber and the former Louise Brenner. A member of St. Louis RC Church, a member of the Holy Name Society of the Church, and formerly employed at Canada Barrels and Keg Ltd. for many years. Surviving are his wife, the former Marie Wingfelder, a daughter and son-in-law Marjorie and Douglas J. Uttley, Kitchener, a brother, Leo Weber of St. Clements, and two sisters, Magdalena (Mrs. William Snider and Marie Louise (Mrs. Alex Hartman) of St. Clements, and by two grandchildren, James and Pamela Uttley. He was predeceased by three brothers and one sister. Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, after 7 p.m. tonight, where a vigil service will be held Tuesday at 8 p.m. Prayers will be said at the funeral home on Wednesday at 9: 30 a.m., followed by funeral mass at St. Louis Church, at 10 a.m. Interment Woodland cemetery.
