    GERBER, Emmanuel W. Suddenly, on Tuesday, May 21, 1996, at his home, RR 1 Millbank.

    Emmanuel was born in Wellesley township 84 years ago, son of the late Joseph Gerber and the late Mary Wagler. Mr. Gerber farmed on the 5th Line of Wellesley, retiring in 1973. He was a faithful member of the Cedar Grove Amish Mennonite Church.

    Beloved father of Enos and his wife Reta Gerber of Milverton, Kathryn and her husband Willis Kuepfer of RR 1, Newton, Arthur and his wife Laurene Gerber of RR 1, Gads Hill, Amy and her husband Melvin Kuepfer of RR 1, Newton, Nicholas and his wife Emma Gerber of RR 3, Wellesley, Stanley and his wife Erma Gerber of Brunner, Margaret and her husband Raymond Wagler of Wellesley, Shirley and her husband Larry Gerber of RR 1, Millbank, David and his wife Marilyn Gerber of RR 1, Millbank; father-in-law to Ivan Jantzi of RR 1, Brunner. Dear brother of Ezra and his wife Adeline Gerber of RR 1, Millbank and Tina Erb of Millbank; brother-in-law of Nancy Zehr, Katie Steckly, Emma Steckly and Mary Zehr and Emmanuel and Annie Ropp. Lovingly remembered by 37 grandchildren and 36 great grand children.

    Predeceased by his wife, Elizabeth Steckly March 20, 1991; by a daughter, Marie Jantzi May 22, 1991; also by a son, Gordon October 20, 1963; one grandson; one great granddaughter; one brother, Noah and four sisters, Baarbara, Nancy, Katie and Mary.

    Visitation at the Futher Bros. Funeral Home, 40 Henry St. W. in Wellesley, where family and friends will be received this evening (Wednesday) from 7-9 p.m. and on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A family service will be conducted at the funeral home on Friday, May 24, 1996 at 1 p.m., followed by the funeral service at the Cedar Grove Amish Mennonite Church at 2 p.m. Mahlon Gerber and Laverne Zehr will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

    Memorials to Master International Ministries would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.

    KUEPFER, Kathryn Elizabeth Passed away suddenly on Monday December 28th, 2009 at Stratford General Hospital. Kathryn resided at Knollcrest Lodge, Milverton and was formerly of RR#1 Newton. She was born 71 years ago in Wellesley Township a daughter of the late Emmanuel W. and Elizabeth (Steckley) Gerber. Kathryn was a member of Cedar Grove Amish Mennonite Church, Wellesley. Beloved wife of Willis Kuepfer who she married May 4, 1960. Loving mother of Wesley and Lynda Kuepfer of Milverton, Clifford and Beatrice Kuepfer of RR#2 Teeswater, Dennis and Josephine Kuepfer of Millbank and Calvin and Martha Kuepfer of Wellesley. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Gerald, Edwin, Heather, Roland, Sharmayne, Violet (Jonathan Horst), Patricia (Arthur Steiner), Terry, Tanya, Melissa, Eugene, Delphine, Julianne, William, Stephanie, Cynthia, Alyssa, Justin, Brandon, and by great-grandson Tyrel. Family and friends may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home , 7 Spencer St., Milverton, today, Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. and again on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. On Friday, January 1st, 2010, a family service will be held at the funeral home followed by the funeral service at Cedar Grove Amish Mennonite Church at 2: 00 p.m. with Bishop Arthur Gerber officiating. Burial to follow in the adjoining cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to Knollcrest Lodge, Milverton or Masters International Ministries. A special thank you to the staff at Knollcrest Lodge for their loving care for the past 5 years along with Emergency and I.C.U at Stratford General Hospital for the tender compassion shown to our family.

    Wesley Gerald Kuepfer of Milverton, passed away on December 23, 2021 at Stratford General Hospital at the age of 61.

    Dear husband of Lynda (Gerber) Kuepfer for 39 years. Loving father of Gerald (Rosie) of Fort McMurray, AB, Edwin of Lethbridge, AB, Heather of Elmira, Roland (Shannon) of Stratford, and Sharmayne of Milverton. Cherished grandfather of Sophie of Fort McMurray, AB. Lovingly remembered by his siblings, Clifford & Beatrice Kuepfer, Dennis & Josephine Kuepfer, and Calvin & Martha Kuepfer, as well as brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law, Doris & Ronald Lebold, Raymond Gerber, Mary Ellen & Arnold Yantzi, and Ralph & Maryann Steckley. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.

    Wesley was predeceased by his parents, Willis & Kathryn (Gerber) Kuepfer, daughter Angela, his father-in-law & mother-in-law Raymond & Emma (Roes) Gerber, his step-father-in-law Amos Steckley, his brother Russell Kuepfer, his sister-in-law Deborah Gerber, and his brother-in-law Wayne Dotzert.

    A private family burial will take place at Maple View Mennonite Church in Wellesley, with a Memorial Service to follow at a later date.

    Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home (Milverton).

    In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Stratford General Hospital Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
