Born Dec. 8, 1879, in the town of Berlin, now Kitchener, Mrs. Storey remained active even when she was 100. She lived with her daughter, Marie, at 214 Queen St. S., Kitchener, until moving to Freeport Hospital about three months ago. A private family memorial service will be held in Kitchener, April 30.

The sudden death of Mr. F. W. Snyder occurred in the Galt Hospital this morning. Mr. Snyder accompanied by other Kitchener men, went to Galt to attend the hockey match, and was in the best of spirits until the latter part of the second period when he left the auditorium. Dr. Homer Pequegnat, who was in the audience was called, and realized Mr. Snyder had a heart attack and administered a sedative later and was then taken to the Galt hospital feeling somewhat rerelieved. His family was called and when they left about 3 a.m., they had the assurance that he was some better and was going to overcome this attack. About 4 or 4.15 a.m., the hospital phoned to say he had passed away. Mr. Snyder was born in Kitchener on Sept. 27, 1881, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Snyder, he attended local schools and later Collegiate and upon his graduation was employed by the Economical Mutual Fire Insurance Company. This Company he has served faithfully for over forty years. Since the death of the late Mr. W. H. Schmaltz, he was Secretary-Treasurer and General Manager. During his association with the Company, he has only missed five days due to illness. He was also a member of the Kitchener Granite Club and an ardent curler. He was a member of the K.-W. Rotary Club and served as treasurer for the last 13 years. He was interested in anything pertaining to youth and was very much interested in the Boy Scout movement and was also interested in a very serious way in the hockey movement and was one of the directors of the Kitchener Memorial Gardens. He attended St. Peter's Lutheran Church and was very much interested in the affairs of that church.
