Yutzi, Daniel R., son of Samuel B. and Barbara (Roth) Yutzi, was born in Perth Co., Ont., Jan. 14, 1880; died at the Kitchener-Waterloo Hospital Jan. 16, 1961, after a 3-day illness; aged 81 y. 2 d. On March 1, 1910, he was married to Fanny Spenler, who survives. Also surviving are 3 daughters (Olivia--Mrs. Valentine Jantzi, St. Clements; Lavina--Mrs. Chris Herrfort, Newton, Ont.; and Mabel--Mrs. John L. Erb, Wellesley), 7 grandchildren, and one sister (Mrs. Enos Schultz, Milverton). He was preceded in death by one son, 3 brothers, and one sister. He was a member of the Wellesley Maple View A.M. congregation since his marriage. For the last three years he and his companion resided alternately with their three daughters. Services were held Jan. 19 at the Maple View Church, in charge of Samuel Leis and Chris Streicher.

JANTZI, Mrs. Valentine, (Olivia) - Peacefully, surrounded by her fam-ily, on Tuesday, Oct. 26, 1993, at Nithview Home, New Hamburg, Mrs. Olivia (Yutzi) Jantzi, of Nithview Home, New Hamburg and formerly of Crosshill.

Mrs. Jantzi was born near Topping 81 years ago, a daughter of the late Daniel R. Yutzi and the late Fannie Spenler. Olivia was a faithful member of the Crosshill Mennonite Church and had served on the WMSC of the Crosshill Mennonite Church.

Beloved wife of Valentine Jantzi of Nithview whom she married November 27, 1940. Cherished mother of Kenneth and his wife Ruth (Lichti) of Kitchener, Eileen and her husband Richard Racistake of Moorefield; loving grandmother of Darrell and Greg Jantzi, Cheryl and her husband Mike Reidt and Judy Radstake. Missed by her twin sister, Lavina Herrfort of Milverton, Mabel and her husband John L. Erb of RR 2, Wellesley; sisters-in-law, Annie Jantzi of Waterloo. Voronica Jantzi of Kitchener, Christina (Tina) Erb of Poole. Jessie Jantzi of Welland; brothers-in-law, Christian Jantzi and his wife Thelma of Westminster, B.C., Ben Jantzi and his wife Vi of Honey Harbor.

Visitation at the Futher Bros. Funeral Home, 40 Henry St. W., Wellesley, where the family will receive friends today (Thursday) and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. At noon on Saturday, Oct. 30, 1993 removal. will be made to the Crosshill Mennonite Church for the funeral service at 2 p.m. Rev. ERB, Delton Jacob Delton Jacob Erb of Ste. Agathe, MB, formerly of Wellesley, ON., passed away peacefully at St. Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg on Sunday, May 29, 2011. He was born February 17, 1941. He will be forever cherished by his beloved wife of 45 years, LeEtta (nee Yantzi) whom he married on May 21, 1966. Together they had five sons: Rodrick (Lisa), Rolond (Janice), Royce (Dana), Russell (Joyelle) and Roger. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; sister Doris (Enos) Kipfer, brother Larry (Carol) Erb and step-mother-in-law Pearl Yantzi. Visitation will be held at Glenlea Mennonite Church on Friday, June 3, 2011 from 4: 00 to 8: 00 p.m. Burial will take place at the church cemetery on Saturday, June 4 at 10: 00 a.m. followed by a Memorial Service at 11: 00 a.m. at the Glenlea Mennonite Church.
