    Noah Wagler

    Ill for the past year, Noah Wagler, age 61, died at his home near Wellesley. He was born in the Fifth line of Wellesley Township. He attended Lichti's Amish-Mennonite Church, Third line of Wellesley.

    Surviving are his wife, three sons, and three daughters, namely, Samuel, Fifth line, Wellesley; Christian of Wilmot Township; Allan, Lydia, Clara, at home, and Mrs. Ezra Erb, Millbank; also four brothers and two sisters, Michael, Wellesley; David, Fifth line of Wellesley; Daniel, North Easthope, and John, Toronto; Mrs. John R. Gerber, Wellesley; Mrs. Joseph R. Gerber, Fifth line of Wellesley; also seven grandchildren.

    Funeral services were held on Saturday at 9.30 a.m., from the residence to Lichti Amish-Mennonite Church, Third Line of Wellesley, for public service. Interment was in the adjoining cemetery. Bishop Jacob Lichti was in charge.

    Wagler, Samuel R. - Peacefully, on Monday, July 20, 1992 at Stratford General Hospital, Samuel R. Wagler, of Country Meadows Retirement Home, Brunner, formerly of Queen Street West, Wellesley.

    Mr. Wagler was born in Kingwood 84 years ago. He was a son of the late Noah Wagler and the late Veronica Roth. He was a member of the Cedar Grove Amish Mennonite Church, Wellesley township. He had farmed in Wellesley township, retiring to Wellesley in 1973.

    Beloved husband of Leah (Lebold) of Brunner Nursing Home. Dear brother of Christ Wagler of Nithview Home, New Hamburg, Allan and his wife Emma Wagler of Millbank, Matilda (Mrs. Ezra Erb) of Hillside Nursing Home, Sebringville and Lydia and her husband Lloyd Zehr of RR 1 Millbank.

    He was predeceased by two sons, John and Irvin and also by one daughter in infancy; by one sister, Clara Wagler; a sister-in-law, Katie Wagler and a brother-in-law, Ezra Erb.

    Visitation at the Futher Bros. Funeral Home, 40 Henry St., Wellesley, where the family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A family service will be conducted at the funeral home on Wednesday, July 22 at 1 p.m., followed by the funeral service at Cedar Grove Amish Mennonite Church at 2 p.m. John Zehr and Mahlon Gerber will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

    Memorials to Christian Printing Missions, would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy for the late Samuel Wagler.

    WAGLER, Chris R. - Peacefully on Friday, Dec. 10, 1993 at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener. Christian R. Wagler of Nithview Home, New Hamburg and formerly of Wellesley. Chris was born in Wellesley Township 83 years ago, the son of the late Noah L. Wagler and the late Veronica Roth. Mr. Wagler had farmed in Wilmot Township retiring about 20 years ago. He was a member of the Maple View Mennonite Church. Dearly loved father of Mahon and his wife Bernice Wagler of New Hamburg, Iris and her husband Harold Anger of Kitchener; dear brother of Allan and his wife Emma Wagler of Millbank, Matilda Erb and her late husband Ezra of Sebringville and Lydia and her husband Lloyd Zehr of RR 1 Millbank; brother-in-law of Leah Wagler of Brunner. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Charlene and her husband Andy Poth, Tim and his wife Cheryl Wagler and Rhonda Wagler and Kevin, Cheryl and Tracey Anger. Predeceased by his wife, the former Catherine (Katie) Jantzi, September 14, 1985. Also by one brother Samuel Wagler and one sister Clara Wagler. Visitation at Futher Bros.     ANGER, Iris Marie -Passed away, surrounded by her family on Monday, May 16, 2005, at Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, Kitchener. Iris resided in Kitchener and was born 57 years ago in Toronto. She was the daughter of the late Christian R. and Katie (Jantzi) Wagler and had grown up in Wellesley. Iris enjoyed cooking, country music and especially spending time with her grandchildren. Beloved husband of Harold Anger whom she married September 7, 1968. Dear mother of Kevin and wife Giovanna Anger of Hamilton, Cheryl and husband Craig Blais of Kitchener, Tracey Anger and fiancee Al Hentges of Kitchener. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Sarah, Nicholas, Erika, Liam, Bryanna and Gracie. Also missed by her favourite dog Jessie and a number of sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews. Iris was predeceased by her brother, Mahlon Wagler. Family and friends may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron St., New Hamburg on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will take place on Friday May 20, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Bill Shafer officiating. Interment in Fairmount Cemetery, Baden. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

    WAGLER, Melvin Noah - Passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2009, at London Health Sciences Centre, University Hospital. Melvin resided in Millbank and was born 66 years ago in Wellesley Township. Beloved husband of Anna Mae (Kuepfer) Wagler whom he married September 12, 1970. Loving father of Rhoda and Jeffery Kuepfer of RR 1, Lucknow, Jennifer and Willis Martin of Drayton. Dear son of Emma (Zehr) Wagler of Brunner and the late Allan R. Wagler. Sadly missed by his grandchildren, Travis, Tyler, Emma, Annette, Curtis, Kendrick and Hannah. Remembered by his sisters, Ruth Wagler of Newton, Erma and Ervin Horst of New Hamburg, Shirley and Wayne Erb of RR 1, Milverton, Elaine and Ronald Gerber of Newton; brothers, Mervin and Wanda Wagler of RR 1, Wellesley, Murray and Hannah Wagler of RR 1, Millbank, Mark and June Wagler of RR 1, St. Charles, Wayne and Dianne Wagler of RR 1, Milverton and also his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Steven and Mary Kuepfer, Marlene and Ezra Streicher, Marion and Israel Albrecht, Dianne and Wayne Wagler and Donald and Virginia Kuepfer. Melvin was predeceased by sister, Lauren; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Sarah and Lorne Kuepfer; sister-in-law, Miriam Wagler and nephew, Mark Albrecht. Melvin was a member of Cedar Grove Amish Mennonite Church, Wellesley. Family and friends may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home , 7 Spencer Street, Milverton tonight Friday from 6:30-9:00 p.m. and again Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will take place on Sunday August 2, 2009 at 2 p.m. at Cedar Grove Amish Mennonite Church, Wellesley with Bishop Arthur Gerber officiating. Interment in Cedar Grove Amish Mennonite Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to Masters International Ministries or London Guest House.
