    Notes:

    ZEHR- Moses Zehr was born in Oxford County, Ontario, Canada, on Sept. 18, 1892. Died March 14, 1972, in K.W. Hospital, Kitchener, Ont., Can; at the age of 79 years, 5 months and 26 days, after a brief illness. In his youth he accepted Christ as his Saviour and was baptized in the Amish Mennonite Church, remaining faithful to the end. On Jan. 8, 1918, he was married to Fanny Lichti, who predeceased him on March 5, 1965. He is survived by 4 sons, John and Jacob of R. 1, Millbank, Ont., Norman of Brunner, Ont, and Elmer of Kitchener, Ont.; 4 daughters, Emma (wife of Allen Wagler) and Esther (wife of Ohmer Jantzi) of R. 1, Wellesley, Ont., Mary (wife of Amos Gerber) and Laura of R. 1, Millbank, Ont. Also 4 brothers, David and Jacob of R. 1. Millbank, Ont., Aaron of Lewis County, New York, Amos of R. 3, Wellesley, Ont., 1 sister, Mrs. Barbara Noftsier of Lewis County, New York. 36 grandchildren and 1 great -grand-child. He was preceded in death by one sister and one grandchild. Funeral services were held at the Cedar Grove Amish Mennonite meeting house on March 17, conducted by Noah Gerber of the home congregation and Noah Peachey and Alvin Peachey of Belleville, Penna. Interment in adjoining cemetery.

    WAGLER, Emma - At St. Mary's Memorial Hospital, St. Mary's Ontario on Sunday, December 28, 2014, Emma (nee Zehr) of Brunner in her 95th year. Beloved wife of the Late Allan R. Wagler (1999). Loving mother of Ruth Wagler of Newton, Erma (Ervin Horst) of Tavistock, Shirley (Wayne Erb) of Milverton, Elaine (Ronald Gerber) of Newton, Mervin (Wanda) of Wellesley, Murray (Hannah) of Crosshill, Mark (June) of St. Charles, Wayne (Dianne) of Millbank and daughter in-law Anna Mae Wagler of Millbank. Predeceased by her son Melvin (2009), daughter Laurene Wagler (1951), daughter in-law Miriam (2008) and her parents Moses Zehr and Fannie Lichti. She will be sadly missed by 34 grandchildren, 97 great-grandchildren, her sisters; Mary (Late Amos Gerber), Laura (Late Elmer Jantzi), Esther (Ohmer Jantzi) and brothers; Norman (Amy), Jacob (Alma), Elmer (Ethel), sister in-law; Mary (Late John Zehr). Predeceased by sister in-law Esther Zehr. Emma was a life-long member of Cedar Grove Amish Mennonite Church. Visitation will be held at the Futher-Franklin Funeral Home, 1172 Henry St., Wellesley, on Monday from 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Cedar Grove Amish Mennonite Church, 4831 Deborah-Glaister Line, Wellesley on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow in church cemetery.     WAGLER, Melvin Noah - Passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2009, at London Health Sciences Centre, University Hospital. Melvin resided in Millbank and was born 66 years ago in Wellesley Township. Beloved husband of Anna Mae (Kuepfer) Wagler whom he married September 12, 1970. Loving father of Rhoda and Jeffery Kuepfer of RR 1, Lucknow, Jennifer and Willis Martin of Drayton. Dear son of Emma (Zehr) Wagler of Brunner and the late Allan R. Wagler. Sadly missed by his grandchildren, Travis, Tyler, Emma, Annette, Curtis, Kendrick and Hannah. Remembered by his sisters, Ruth Wagler of Newton, Erma and Ervin Horst of New Hamburg, Shirley and Wayne Erb of RR 1, Milverton, Elaine and Ronald Gerber of Newton; brothers, Mervin and Wanda Wagler of RR 1, Wellesley, Murray and Hannah Wagler of RR 1, Millbank, Mark and June Wagler of RR 1, St. Charles, Wayne and Dianne Wagler of RR 1, Milverton and also his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Steven and Mary Kuepfer, Marlene and Ezra Streicher, Marion and Israel Albrecht, Dianne and Wayne Wagler and Donald and Virginia Kuepfer. Melvin was a member of Cedar Grove Amish Mennonite Church, Wellesley. Family and friends may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home , 7 Spencer Street, Milverton tonight Friday from 6:30-9:00 p.m. and again Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will take place on Sunday August 2, 2009 at 2 p.m. at Cedar Grove Amish Mennonite Church, Wellesley with Bishop Arthur Gerber officiating. Interment in Cedar Grove Amish Mennonite Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to Masters International Ministries or London Guest House.
