Robert C. F. Kube - Robert C. F. Kube, 546 East Ave., was found dead Sunday at his residence. He had died after a heart attack. He was 69. Mr. Kube was born in Tavistock, Oct. 27, 1898, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Kube. (Note: Robert crossed out and Richard written above.) He resided in Kitchener for 50 years and operated a service station at the corner of King and Ottawa Streets for 30 years before retiring in 1960. Recently he had been employed at the Conestoga Motel. He was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran church and a member of the Waterloo County Fish and Game Protective Association. His wife, the former Minnie Schilter, predeceased him in March, 1959. Surviving are two sons Robert H.R., Burlington and James Kitchener; one brother, Arthur, Kitchener; two sisters Mrs. Louise Kuntz, and Mrs. Frederick (Florence) Barnes, both of Kitchener, and eight grandchildren. The body is at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home where the service will be held Wednesday at 2 pm. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery. Rev. Dr. H.W. Opperman, minister of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, will officiate.

Laura Kube

There passed away at 11.45 o'clock Sunday Miss Laura Kube, aged 18 years, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Kube, her death occurring at the home at 212 Frederick street. The deceased had been in failing health for nine months and her death closed a long period of suffering which was borne with Christian fortitude.

The deceased is surived (sic) by her parents and also three sisters and two brothers who are Mrs. Ed. Kuntz, Mrs. F. Barnes and Martha, all of this city, and Robert and Arthur also of the city. The funeral will be held at 2: 30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon from the residence to Mount Hope cemetery where interment will be made.

IMPRESSIVE SERVICE FOR FUNERAL OF DEAF MUTE

The funeral of the late Laura Kube on June 20^th was conducted according to the impressive services among the deaf mutes. This service is in part as follows:
Let us on this solemn occasion take this truth deeply to heart. But let us take comfort from the words of our living Savior when he saith: "I am the resurrection and the life; He that believeth in me, tho he were dead, yet shall he live; and whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die."

Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid for it was He Our crucified and risen Lord Jesus Christ saw fit to receive the precious blessed and sanctified soul of our departed Miss Laura Kube whom we the deaf family grew to love from the time she came into our fold. And her soul will never be plucked out of the blessed hand of our God.

This departed one shall never be a deaf mute as she used to be when she was with us, for "in that day the deaf shall hear the words of the book." This passage impresses us that we will all join to praise our Supreme Being unceasingly.

Albert Kube - Albert Kenneth, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert C. F. Kube, passed away at the home of his parents, 53 West Avenue, early this morning after an illness of several days. The boy was 26 days old. His parents and one brother, Robert, at home, survive. The funeral will be held privately from the home of his parents on Monday afternoon at 2: 30 o'clock. Interment will be made in Mount Hope Cemetery. Remains will be at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home until Monday morning when they will be removed to the home.

Michael Kube - Michael Kube, 2 ½ month old son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Kube of 103 King St. North, Waterloo, died suddenly this morning at the home of his parents. He was born Jan. 4, 1952. He is survived by two brothers, David and William and one sister Elizabeth. Prayers will be said Thursday at the Walsh Funeral Home Thursday at 8: 45 a.m., followed by Mass of the Angels at 9 a.m. at St. Louis church. Burial will be in the Waterloo Mount Hope Cemetery. The body now rests at the funeral home.
