    We are sorry to chronicle the death of Mr. William F. Holling, of the 13th line, who died at his home on Monday. The remains will be laid to rest on Friday. Much sympathy is extended to the bereaved.

    MRS. WILLIAM HANGARTNER

    Mrs. William N. Hangartner, 62, of Elmira, died suddenly Tuesday at K-W Hospital.

    Born near Linwood, she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Holling.

    She was a member of Zion Evangelical United Brethren Church, Elmira.

    Her first husband, William Kuhl, died in 1935. She remarried in 1937.

    Surviving besides her husband are four sons, Edward, Clarence and Robert, all of Elmira, and William Jr., of Toronto; four daughters, Mrs. Earl (Kathleen) Stever of Heidelberg, Mrs. Earl (Helen) Brodrecht of Kitchener, Mrs. Stuart (Betty) Luckhardt of RR 4, Wiarton and Mrs. Camille (Jean) Melanson of Montreal; one sister, Mrs. Elmer Flink of Elmira; one brother, Orville of Elmira, and 10 grandchildren.

    The body rested at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira, until noon Friday when removal was made to Zion EUB Church for the funeral service at 2 pm conducted by Rev. M. E. Reuber.

    Burial was in Elmira cemetery.

    Rosetta married William John Kuhl 20 Jun 1923, Kitchener, Waterloo Region, Ontario, Canada. William (son of Carl Kuhl and Elizabeth Lang) was born 27 Apr 1894, Elmira, Woolwich Twp., Waterloo Region, Ontario, Canada; died 15 Jun 1935; was buried , Elmira Union Cemetery, Elmira, Waterloo Region, Ontario, Canada. Dear brother of Kathleen (Mrs. Earl Stever) of Lucknow, Helen (Mrs. Earl Brodrecht) of Kitchener, Clarence of St. Jacobs, Robert of Collingwood, Jean Melanson of Cambridge and William Hangartner of Wheatly. Predeceased by his parents, William and Rosetta Kuhl, one brother and one sister. Visitation at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira, after 2 pm Tuesday. Funeral service in the chapel on Wednesday at 1 p.m. Interment Elmira Union cemetery.

    ROBERT (BOB) KUHL 1931 - 2007 Bob passed away, after a brief illness, at St. Mary's General Hospital, in Kitchener, on Saturday, October 13, 2007, at the age of 76. Beloved husband of Norma (formerly Musselman, nee Heimpel). Will be sadly missed by step-daughter, Donna Marshall and Orvie Sauder of Kitchener. Also missed by grandsons, John and Brenda Marshall and Jeremy Marshall and Monique Desbrasis, all of London and two great-grandchildren, Erin and Nicholas. Bob is also survived by his step-brother, Bill and Marlene Hangartner of Lindsay and his nieces and nephews. He was a pal and a friend to many people in the Elmira area and will be sadly missed. Predeceased by his parents; brothers Clarence and Ed; sisters Helen and Kay and other relatives. Friends and relatives are invited to share memories of Bob during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home , 171 King Street South in Waterloo on Tuesday, October 16, 2007 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The funeral service will follow in the chapel at 1 p.m. with Rev. Robert Krestick officiating. A reception will follow at the funeral home. Cremation with interment at Mount Hope Cemetery, Waterloo. Condolences for the family and memorial donations, in lieu of flowers, may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario by contacting the funeral home at 519-745-8445 or www.erbgood.com In living memory of Bob, a tree will be planted through the Trees for Learning Program by the funeral home.
