EYDT, Gordon Andrew - On Saturday, July 1, 1989, at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, Gordon Eydt, of RR 1 Millbank. He was born in Wellesley Township, 74 years ago, a son of the late George Eydt and the former Mary Neeb.
He was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Linwood, where he had been a former Sunday school superintendent and also a former ?church council member he was a founding member of the Loyals Club of St. Peter's Lutheran Church. He was a past President of the Waterloo County Federation of Agriculture and enjoyed competing in plowing matches.
Beloved husband of the former Alma Dorothy Voll, whom he married July 15, 1942. Dear father of Carolyn and her husband Robert Hertzberger of Kitchener, Valerie and her husband Jack Baker of Fergus and Graham at home; lovingly remembered by four grandchildren, Trina, Troy, Blaine and Brett; sadly missed by four sisters, Mrs. Helen Dammeier of RR 1, Wallenstein, Florence and her husband gilbert Moser of RR 1, St. Clements, Vera and her husband Arthur Hackbart of Kitchener, Pearl and her husband Fred Zarnke of Waterloo.
Gordon was predeceased by one brother, Melvin and one brother-in-law, Earl Demmeier.
Friends and relatives may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 9 Pacific Avenue, Milverton, until tomorrow (Tuesday) at non, when transfer will be made to St. Peter's Lutheran church, Linwood, for the service at 2 pm, with Rev. Stephen Weber officiating. Interment to follow in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery, Linwood.

Helen (Eydt) Dammeier age 93 years formerly of Linwood has now joined her husband Earl who predeceased her in 1987. Loving mother of Joyce and Tony Gerth of Waterloo, and Bruce and Donna Dammeier of Linwood. Dear grandma of Rob (Tiffany) Dammeier, Jen Mifflin, Roger (Julie) Dammeier, Jeff (Colleen) Dammeier, Sherry (Bill) Taylor, and great-grandma of Cassandra and Jordan, Tyson and Kennedy, Cassidy and Logan and Dylan. Sister and sister-in-law of Florence Moser, Pearl (Fred) Zarnke, Alma Eydt, and Art Hackbart. Also remembered by her many nieces, nephews and their families. NEIL ROGER DAMMEIER
Of RR 1, Arthur, died suddenly, on Tuesday, May 14, 2002 at Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto, as a result of a car accident.
Neil was born August 14, 1950 and grew up on a farm just outside of Linwood.
Neil worked for The County of Wellington Waste Management Department.
He had a love for photography and had captured many precious moments at weddings and other special occasions.
He also enjoyed woodworking as a hobby.
He was the beloved son of Helen (of Waterloo) and the late Earl Dammeier.
Loving father to Roger (of Fergus), Jeff and his fiancee Colleen (of Mississauga) and Sherry and her husband Bill Taylor (of Elmira); cherished "gramps" to Cassidy and Logan Taylor, beloved brother of Joyce and her husband Tony Gerth (of Waterloo) and Bruce and his wife Donna (of Linwood); special uncle to Rob Dammeier and Jen and her husband Sean Mifflin.
Husband of Janis Dammeier (of Fergus).
The family will receive friends and relatives at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, 62 Arthur St. S., Elmira, tonight (Thursday) from 7-9 p.m. and on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
At 9 a.m. on Saturday transfer will be made to Faith Lutheran Church, 290 Belsyde St. E., in Fergus for funeral service at 11 a.m., with Pastor Peter Lisinski officiating.
Family committal service at St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery in Linwood, following the church luncheon Saturday afternoon.
