Daniel Kennel
Daniel Kennel, 61 years, of 97 Cameron St. North, died at his residence last night following a lengthy illness. Born in Wellesley Township, June 11, 1891, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Christian Kennel. Mr. Kennel was a member of the First Mennonite Church, Kitchener. He is survived by his wife, the former Adeline Ropp, who he married March 1920, in Emily City, Mich.; one daughter, Mrs. Arthur (Eunice) Lichty of Kitchener; six sisters, Miss Mattie Kennel and Mrs. Samuel Lehman of Castorland, N.Y., Mrs. John Jutzi of Kitchener, Mrs. Emmanuel Steinman of New Hamburg, Mrs. Minetta Erb of Millbank and Mrs. Ervin Ropp of Port Austin, Mich. Two grandchildren also survive. The body is at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home until 1 p.m. Monday when removal will be made to the First Mennonite Church for the funeral at 3 p.m. Burial will take place in the adjoining cemetery. She was born in Wellesley 76 years ago, the daughter of the later Christian Kennel and the late Barbara Schrag. She was a member of the Maple View Mennonite Church.
Dear mother of Arlan D. of Route 1, Millbank; sister of Mattie Kennel of Casterland, N. Y., Sarah (Mrs. Emmanuel Steinman) of Baden; beloved grandmother of Duane and Daryl Erb and Twila Dawn (Mrs. Clifford Brenneman) and one great grandchild, Treena. She was predeceased by her husband, Rev. Samuel O. Erb, September 30, 1950; also predeceased by one brother and three sisters.
Visitation at the Futher Bros. Funeral Home, Wellesley. The family will receive friends this evening from 7 to 9 and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. At noon, Friday, June 7, removal will be made to Maple View Mennonite Church for service at 2:30, Rev. Alvin Leis and Res. Steven Gerber officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

William Lehman at the First Mennonite Church of Kitchener, Ontario, October 5, 1946 with the Rev. Merle Shantz officiating. She worked as a secretary and in advertising, lastly by MR Jutzi, Industrial Auctioneer. She enjoyed reading, knitting, crocheting, sewing and spending time with family. She is survived by twin sons and their wives, Brian and Joan, Beaver Falls, and Brent and Janelle, Mannsville. She also raised numerous foster children. She has four grandchildren and their spouses, Tracy and Dan Sheridin, Mebane, NC; Brent Jr. and Daniele Lehman, Cobleskill; Pamela and Scott Goodheart, and Kimberly Lehman, all of Lowville. She has three great-grandchildren, Daniel, Austin and Payton Goodheart. She also has two sisters, Mae Snider and Lucetta Stauffer and a brother Merlin Jutzi, all of Canada; two sisters-in-law, Alice Lehman, Castorland and Loretta Jutzi, Kitchener, Ontario, nieces, nephews and cousins. She is predeceased by twin grandsons Daniel and David, two brothers Addison and Munro Jutzi, and four sisters, Leona Widrick, Mildred Calvert, Blanche Jutzi and Ortha Wideman. ERB, Arlan Peacefully in his sleep, Arlan went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at the age of 87. Arlan resided at Nithview Community, New Hamburg and was formerly of Millbank. He was a member of Heritage Mennonite Church, Millbank and had served with the Gospel Echoes Prison Ministry for many years. Arlan enjoyed woodworking and spending time with his family and friends. Beloved husband of Marion (Nafziger) Erb whom he married in 1951. Loving father of Duane and Jean, Twila Brenneman, Daryl and Norma. Special grandpa of Treena and Roger and their children Lidia, Mya, Katy and Jesse; Dale and Maria; Twila; Darren and Katie Ann; Rebecca and Daniel and their son Luke; Elizabeth and Nick and their daughter Penelope; Sarah; Phil and Allison and their son Owen; Jeff and Catherine and their children Phoenix, Julian and Lincoln; Janine and Brad. LICHTY, Gordon Dale Peacefully at Sakura House in Woodstock on Sunday, May 6, 2012, after a long struggle with cancer, at the age of 67. Loving husband and best friend of Linda (MacIntosh) Lichty of 45 years. Dear father of Kevin (Tara) and Dave (Bonnie). Proud Grampa of Devon, Brooklyn, Emma and Tyler. Remembered in love by his brother Cliff (Jacquie), sister Charlene (Murray) Weber, brother Brad (Rebecca), and step-mother, Olive Lichty. Also by his brothers-in-law, Ian (Barb) and Jim (Carol) MacIntosh. Uncle of Blaine (Tara), Desi, Trevor (Jenny), Kim (Steve), Christina (Trevor), Nicole and Kayla. Predeceased by his parents Arthur and Eunice (Kennel) and one brother, Chet. Gord was a skilled tradesman in the heating industry for over 43 years for Boehmers and Overland Plumbing & Heating. He will be missed by his friends at Family Paradise Campground where he spent 25 years of camping and enjoying his 'down' time around the evening campfires....his most favourite time of the day. A heartfelt thank you to the many caregivers who helped Gord on his journey with cancer, including Grand River Cancer Centre, the chemo dept., Dr. Ruth Gingell-Potts and her staff, and the excellent care he received by the staff at Sakura House. We would also like to remember the Stratford CCAS, and a special thanks to his nurse, Victor, who helped pave the way for his comfort. Calvert-Kenneth Frank Calvert, only son of Frank and Mildred ( Jutzi) Calvert, passed away at St.Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, Ont,. on Saturday afternoon, April 15, 1944. He was born in Kitchener on Nov. 12, 1940; died at the age of 3y 6m 3d. Besides his sorrowing parents, he is survived by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John Jutzi of Kitchener, and Mr and Mrs John Calvert also of Kitchener. He is also survived by 2 great- grandmothers, Mrs, Elizabeth Jutzi of Wilmot Centre, and Mrs Barbara Kennel of Crosshill. JEFFREY KEITH CRAIG JUTZI Died at home with his family at his side, Jeff Jutzi, of Waterloo, in his 58th year, after an encounter with pancreatic cancer. Dear husband of Monica (nee Bonkowski); father of Michael and his fiancee Brooke Ayer of Toronto and Leah and her friend Hector Li Chang of London, Ontario. He is survived by his brother, Dennis Jutzi and his wife Marion and his sister Karen Balmer and her husband Brice. Will be remembered by his mother-in-law, Frieda Bonkowski; sisters-in-law, Ursula Totzke and Ilse Hoffman and her husband Carl; nine nieces and nephews and 19 great-nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Munro and Eileen (Musselman) Jutzi; one sister, in infancy, Linda Anne and his father-in-law Friedrich Bonkowski. Cremation has taken place.
