    Gascho.- Ezra, son of John and Catherine (Lichti) Gascho, was born at Wellesley, Ont., Sept. 19, 1893; died of cancer at Stratford (Ont.) General Hospital, July 15, 1967; aged 73 y. 9 m. 26 d. In 1916 he was married to Rachel Boshart, who died in 1948. In 1951 he was married to Barbara Stere, who survives. Also surviving are 3 children (John, Laura-Mrs. Leroy Erb, Lloyd), 3 brothers (Samuel, John, and David), and one sister (Mary-Mrs. Noah Yantzi). He was a member of the Tavistock Church. Funeral Services were held at the East Zorra Church, July 18 with Newton L. Gingerich, Dan Zehr, and David Schwartzentruber officiating.

    DAVID GASCHO

    David L. Gascho, 75, died Saturday following a brief illness in the Brunner Rest Home at Brunner.

    He was a son of the late John Gascho and Catherine Lichty.

    Surviving are his wife, the former Louise Brunk; a brother John L. Gascho and a sister, Mrs. Noah Jantzi, both of Wellesley; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers.

    The body rested at the Heubner Funeral Home in Milverton until noon Tuesday when removal was made to Riverdale Mennonite Church at Millbank for funeral service at 2: 30 p.m. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

    GASCHO, John N. - John Norman Gascho, 78, of Tavistock, passed away, in Stratford General Hospital, on Saturday, Sept. 6, 2003. He was born in Wellesley on April 16, 1925, a son of the late Ezra and Rachael (Boshart) Gascho. He had operated service stations in Tavistock, where he was a member of the Tavistock Mennonite Church. John is survived by his wife, the former LaVone Zehr, whom he married in East Zorra Mennonite Church, 16th line on September 15, 1948; two sons, Kenneth and wife Rosalie Gascho of Guelph, Wayne and wife Sara Gascho of Waterloo; four grandchildren, Natalie, Andrea, Grant and Paige; his sister-in-law, Joyce Gascho of Woodstock and several Zehr brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his step-mother, Barbara (Stere) Gascho; his brother, Lloyd Gascho; his sister, Laura Erb and her husband LeRoy and Zehr brothers-in-law and sister-in-law. Relatives and friends will be received in the Francis Funeral Home, 77 Woodstock Street North, Tavistock today (Monday) and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in Tavistock Mennonite Church on Wednesday, September 10, 2003 at 2 p.m. Pastor Sherri Martin-Carman, assisted by Pastor Winston Martin, will officiate. Interment in East Zorra Mennonite Cemetery, 16th line. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Tavistock Community Health Inc. would be appreciated and may be made through the funeral home by calling 655-2431.
