    NOAH SCHULTZ
    Noah Schultz, 82, of concession 3, Wellesley Township, died on Sunday, January 1st, at the K-W Hospital after an eight \endash month illness. Born in Petersburg, August 3rd, 1878, he was a son of the late John Schultz and his wife, the former Barbara Schultz. He farmed in Wellesley Township all his life and was a member of the Nafziger Amish Mennonite Church, West of Poole. His wife the former Annie Nafziger, died July 5th, 1955. Survivors include five sons, Samuel, of Kingwood; Christian, of Niagara Falls, Ont.; John, of Millbank; Nelson and William, of R.R. 1, Milverton; six daughters, Mrs. Samuel (Sarah) Jutzi, of R.R. 1, Gadshill; Miss Madeline, of Hamilton; Mrs. Allan (Catherine) Schultz, of Topping; Mrs. Elvy (Elizabeth) Bast, of Millbank; Mrs. Lorne (Emma) Albrecht, of R.R. 1, Milverton; Mrs. Emmanuel (Laurene) Albrecht, of Gowanstown; two sisters, Mrs. Samuel (Elizabeth) Leis, of Kingwood, and Mrs. Samuel (Mary) Bast, of Wellesley; 42 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. One son, David and one daughter, Mrs. M. (Mary) Lichti, predeceased him. The body rested at the home of his son, Nelson, R.R. 1, Milverton, where a short service was conducted Wednesday, at 1:30 p.m., followed by a memorial service at the Maple View Amish Mennonite Church at 2:15 p.m. Bishop Christian Streicher officiated. Burial was in the adjoining cemetery.

    SCHULTZ, Samuel N\emdashPeacefully, on Wednesday, April 28, 1993, at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, Samuel N. Schultz, of Nithview Home, New Hamburg, formerly of Wellesley.
    Sam was born in Wellesley township 83 years ago, a son of the late Noah Schultz and the late Annie Nafziger. Mr. Schultz was a lifelong member of Mapleview Mennonite Church, where he served as Sunday school superintendent for many years. He was also a member of the London Rescue Mission (Mission Services of London) and served as a school trustee at Kingwood S.S. No. 7. He farmed at Kingwood from 1940-1980.
    Beloved father of Ronald and his wife Beatrice Schultz of Millbank, Florence and her husband Norman Kehl of Stratford, Dennis and his wife Patricia Schultz of Linwood, Duane and his wife Sharon Schultz of New Hamburg; loving brother of William and his wife Jean Schultz of RR 1, Milverton, Sarah and her husband Samuel Jutzi of Tavistock, Katherine Schultz and her husband, the late Allan Schultz of Milverton, Elizabeth Bast and her husband the late Elvy Bast of Stratford, Laurene and her husband Emmanuel Albrecht of Palmerton; brother-in-law of Willa Schultz of Millbank. Ruth Schultz of Milverton and Lorne Albrecht of Wellesley. He is lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Yvonne Schultz, Wanda and her husband James Poole, Cheryl and her husband Jess Duncan, Cynthia and Stephen Kehl, Sheila, Carrie, Kimberly Schultz and Graeme and Melaine and Scott Schultz; great-grandpa to Samuel Duncan and Justin Poole.
    Predeceased by his wife, the former Beatrice Schultz (June 2, 1989) and also by four brothers, David Schultz, Christian and his wife Rena Schultz, John Schultz and Nelson Schultz and by three sisters, Lena, Mary and Emma Albrecht.
    Visitation at the Futher Bros. Funeral Home, 40 Henry St. Wellesley, where the family will receive friends this evening (Thursday) from 7-9 p.m. and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. At noon Saturday, May 1 removal will be made to the Mapleview Mennonite Church for the funeral service at 2 p.m. Pastor Victor Dorsch will officiate. Interment will follow in the Mapleview Mennonite Cemetery.

    ALBRECHT, Laurene (nee Schultz) Of Drayton and formerly of Palmerston, passed away suddenly at the Royal Terrace, Palmerston on Thursday, June 23, 2011, in her 89th year. Laurene was the last surviving member of the Noah and Annie (Nafziger) Schultz family. Beloved wife of the late Emanuel (Jake) Albrecht (2003). Loving mother of Ruth Ann and Duane Wharram of Palmerston, Kenneth and Gwen Albrecht of New Hamburg, Leonard and Lynette Albrecht of R.R.#2, Moorefield, Laurie Yungblut and Graham Jackson of R.R.#2, Palmerston, Janet and Robert Richmond of R.R.#1 New Dundee and Mary Lou and Elgin Shantz of Kitchener. Predeceased by one son Donald (Reb) Albrecht (1989) and his wife Jean (2000) and son-in-law Ronald Yungblut (2003). Fondly remembered by 18 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren. Sister-in-law of Jean Schultz, Harry and Lucille Albrecht, George and Edith Albrecht, Ervin and Marjorie Albrecht, Eileen and Gord Woolner, Robert Shantz, and Elenore Albrecht. Predeceased by six sisters, Sarah and Sam Jutzi, Lena Schultz, Katherine (Kate) and Allan Schultz, Mary Lichti, Emma and Lorne Albrecht, and Elizabeth and Elvy Bast six brothers Sam and Beatrice, David, Chris and Renee, John and Willa, Nelson and Ruth and William (Bill) Schultz, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Selina and Enos Boshart, Clara and Alvin Schlegel, Vera and Carl Siemon, Lena Shantz and Armand Albrecht. The family will receive friends at the Community Mennonite Fellowship Church, 109 Wellington Street, Drayton on Saturday, June 25, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where Pastor David Tiessen will conduct the Funeral Service in the Community Mennonite Church, Drayton on Sunday, June 26, 2011 at 3 p.m. Followed by Cremation and private family interment in Palmerston Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations to the March of Dimes or the Community Mennonite Church would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to Heritage Funeral Home, Drayton.

Beloved husband of Beatrice Elizabeth Witzel, whom he married in Tavistock, September 23, 1961. Dear father of Yvonne D. Schultz of Millbank, Wanda and her husband James Poole of Waterloo. Lovingly remembered by his grandson Justen Poole. Dear brother of Duane and his wife Sharon Schultz of New Hamburg, Dennis and his wife Patricia Schultz of Linwood and Florence and her husband Norman Kehl of Stratford. Also by his brothers and sisters-in-law of Melvin and Ruby Witzel of Route 1, Bright and Maurice and his wife Velma Witzel of Tavistock. There will be no public visitation at the request of Ronald. Proud grandmother of Samuel (Leigh), William, Zoe, Jack, Myles, Ryan, Renee, Joshua, Daniel, Chyro and great-grandmother of Olivia, Eli, Malik, Faith, Daniel. Florence will be fondly remembered by her siblings; Dennis (Pat) Schultz and Duane (Sharon) Schultz along with her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; Beatrice Schultz, Eleanor (Al) Snyder McKee, Harvey (Arlene) Kehl, Lester (Wanda) Kehl, Donna Hartzler, Audrey (John) Dobie and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her parents, Florence was predeceased by her father and mother-in-law Mary and Herbert Kehl, a brother Ronald Schultz and sister-in-law Phyllis Kehl. Florence's grace, compassion and determined spirit was well known within her community. She lived a life of service and volunteerism and was best known for founding the Stratford House of Blessing, Sara's Place and Healing Rooms of Stratford. Her community recognized her for these efforts by bestowing on her many honours, including the Stratford Citizen of the Year Award and the Leading Women of Canada Award. Florence was a woman of strong faith, whose huge heart left a lasting impression with all those she came in contact with, especially children. We are shocked at her sudden passing and we all know that we will see her again. Family and friends are invited to the visitation at Jubilee Stratford Church, 707 Downie Street, Stratford on Saturday, January 6, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., and on Sunday, January 7, 2018 from 3-7 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Jubilee Stratford Church on Monday, January 8, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow. Interment in Avondale Cemetery following reception.
