    KUEPFER, Mrs. Joseph

    Mrs. Joseph Kuepfer, 92, of Peffers died Wednesday, February 4 at the Milverton Nursing Home after a lengthy illness.

    The former Lydia Jantzi, she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Jantzi. She was of the Amish Mennonite faith.
    She was predeceased by her husband in 1967, a daughter Katie and three brothers and six sisters.

    She is survived by her four sons, Solomon, Millbank; Menno, Atwood; Daniel and Aaron, both of Peffers; 15 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.

    The body rested at the home of her son Aaron at Peffers and the service was conducted from the home on Sunday at 1:30 p.m. followed by burial in the Seventh Line Amish Mennonite cemetery, Mornington Township. Bishop William Carter officiated.

    Pallbearers were Jacob W. Kuepfer, Jacob Steckley, Nick Schmidt, Daniel Albrecht, Sol. Wagler, Noah Kuepfer.

    Relatives attended from Tavistock, New Hamburg, Stratford, and Penna.

    Lydia married Joseph Z. Kuepfer 21 Jan 1903, Wellesley Twp., Waterloo Region, Ontario, Canada. Joseph (son of Solomon J. Kuepfer and Catherine W. Zehr) was born 5 Jul 1881, Mornington Twp., Perth Co., Ontario, Canada; died 1967, Listowel Cemetery, Listowel, , Ontario, Canada; was buried , Edgecombe Amish Cemetery (formerly 7th Line), Mornington Township, Perth Co., Ontario.     KUEPFER, Solomon J.

    Of Millbank, died suddenly Tuesday evening as the result of a car-truck collision near Simcoe. He was born in Mornington Township 66 years ago, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Z. Kuepfer; dear brother of Menno of Route 2, Atwood, Daniel of Shakespeare, Aaron of Newton; predeceased by his wife, the former Kathryn Lebold; also by one sister, Katie (Mrs. Aaron Streicher).

    Friends may call at the family residence in Millbank after 7 p.m. Thursday evening. A family service will be conducted at the home Saturday at 1 o'clock, followed by a further service in the Mornington Amish-Mennonite Church at 2 p.m. Interment to follow in the church cemetery.
