    Notes:

    Menno L. Roth, 56, of Bright died at his home Saturday after a lengthy illness. Born in Wellesley, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas S. Roth. Mr. Roth was proprietor of the Bright butcher store for 15 years. He was a member of the Steinman Amish Mennonite Church Baden.

    Surviving are his widow, the former Lucinda Erb, whom he married in 1922 in Baden; one son, Edgar of Bright, three daughters, Doris of Kitchener and Eileen and Betty of Bright; four brothers, Solomon, John and Peter of New Hamburg [also Edward Roth and Miss Veronica]. One son, Orville, died in infancy.

    The body is resting at his home where the funeral will be held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. followed by a service at the Steinman Church at 2:30 p.m. Burial will be in the Steinman Amish Mennonite Cemetery with Rev. Moses O. Jantzi officiating.

    SCHWARTZ, Elizabeth "Betty" Doreen Mabel In loving memory of our mother who passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 6, 2012, in her 72nd year. Remembered by her daughters Gwen (Dan) Ginn and Donna (Kim) Schwartz; her grandchildren Jason and Ashley Ginn, Davis, Trent, and Reid Schwartz and her sister Eileen (Richard) Wilhelm, also brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband Jerry; son Ken, brother Edgar, a sister Doris and her parents. Betty has several degrees with the Women of the Moose (WOTM) and was also a member of the Kitchener Legion Branch 50. Betty's family will receive friends and relatives at the Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home and Chapel , 51 Benton St. (at Church St.), Kitchener on Tuesday from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. (A WOTM service will be held at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home). Funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. Interment Williamsburg Cemetery.     With family present Richard peacefully passed from life into the loving arms of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Loving and devoted husband of Trudy for over 39 years. Beloved father of Steven and his caring and loving daughter-in-law Michelle (Michy). Proud and generous "Grandpa Richie" of Zachary and Mason. Predeceased by his parents Edgar and Alice Roth. Dearly missed by sister-in-law Brenda, brother-in-law Hiko, their daughter Amy, her husband Jake and daughter Isabella. Richard loved life and taught those around him the importance of sharing a laugh, having fun and treating each other with genuine kindness. He had a great sense of humour and a deep love for his family.
