    Melvin Freeman, 1926-2008. peacefully, on Monday, June 16, 2008, at KW Health Centre of Grand River Hospital. Melvin Freeman, age 81 years, of Conestogo. Beloved husband of Erna (Bauman) Freeman. Loving father of Wayne (Joanne) Freeman, Merle Freeman, Shari (David) Shantz. Will also be missed by his grandchildren, Korey, Kirby, Amy and Katie Freeman, Lisa (Luis) Medeiros, Lori (Brandon) Martin and Kent Shantz. Brother and brother-in-law of Walter and Alice Freeman, Vera and Lloyd Frey, Lloyd and Anna Bauman. Predeceased by his parents, Henry and Sarah (Eby) Freeman. The family will receive friends and relatives at the Dreisinger Funeral Home , Elmira, on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where a family service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, June 19, at 1 p.m. then to the West Montrose Mennonite Meeting House for further public service and burial in the adjoining cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Christian Aid Ministries.
