    BRUBACHER, Murray W. Peacefully on Friday, November 12, 2010 at his residence. Murray Brubacher, age 74 years, of Elmira. Beloved husband of Lois (Blum) Brubacher for 51 years. Brother of Art and Betty of Milverton, Ken and Marlene of R.R. # 2, Miller Lake. Brother-in-law of Susan Gowland (Doug) of Lynden, Barb Ayerhart (Cec.) R.R. # 1, Elmwood. Also remembered by his nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by his parents William and Amelia (Dreisinger) Brubacher. Murray was a very active member of Glenrose Masonic Lodge No. 628 for over 50 years. He led the Masons of Waterloo District as District Deputy Grand Master in 1984. He was a long-time member of Mocha Shrine and the Waterloo County Shriners Club since 1977. At Murray's request, cremation has taken place. A memorial visitation for family and friends will be held at the Dreisinger Funeral Home , Elmira on Sunday, November 14th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A memorial service to celebrate Murray's life will take place at St. James Lutheran Church, Elmira on Monday, November 15th at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Hans Borch officiating. The Glenrose Lodge No. 628, Elmira will assemble for a memorial service at the funeral home on Sunday evening at 6:45 p.m. In Murray's memory, donations to Grand River Hospital Foundation - Renal Dialysis Unit or St. Mary's Hospital Foundation - Cardiac Care would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
