    Beloved husband of Erma Eby: dear father of Donald and Stewart of St. Jacob's and Mrs. Laverne (Pauline) Witttch of Elmira and Glen of Orillia. He Is predeceased by one son, Kenneth: 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren also survive.

    He was a member of Calvary United Church, St. Jacobs.

    Friends may call ae the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira, where the family will receive friends on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9. Funeral service in the chapel on Monday, April 24 at 3 p.m. Interment In Calvary United Church cemetery, St. Jacobs.

    STEWART EBY DERBECKER 1923 - 2009 Passed away peacefully, on Saturday, May 16, 2009 at the Heritage House in St. Jacobs, age 86 years. Loving husband of Velma Derbecker (Seiler). Dear father of Linda Hadley and her husband Bob of Madoc and Paul Derbecker of Barrie. Grandfather to Travis and Kristopher Hadley. Also survived by a sister, Pauline Wittich of Elmira. Predeceased by brothers, Ken, Donald and Glenn. Stewart was a member of Calvary United Church in St. Jacobs and a 50 year Charter Member of the St. Jacobs Lions Club. A Memorial Service to celebrate Stewart's life will take place on Thursday, May 21, 2009 in the chapel of the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo at 2 p.m. with Rev. Drew Maxwell officiating. Following the service a reception will be held in the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral home. Pauline was known for her engaging smile and her quick sense of humour, keeping those who knew her on their toes. Pauline loved her family keeping the details of their lives close to her heart and was happy and proud to share them with others. We will take with us her strength of spirit and miss her ready smile. The family will receive their relatives and friends at the Dreisinger Funeral Home , Elmira on Friday, March 8 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Pauline will be held at Trinity United Church, Elmira on Saturday, March 9th at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. J.D. Kellough officiating. A family interment took place at Calvary United Cemetery, St. Jacobs.
