    MARTIN, Salome (Horst) Passed away peacefully on Monday, December 12, 2016 at her home, RR 3, Listowel, at the age of 92 years. Salome Martin was the beloved wife of Vernal Martin. Loved mother of Esther and Joseph Brubacher of Wallenstein, Lucille and Mervin Martin of Listowel, Elverne and Grace Martin of West Montrose, Earl and Fern Martin of Elora, Bruce and RuthAnn Martin of West Montrose, Anne and Larry Wideman of Clifford, and Linda and Leroy Wideman of Drayton. Loving grandmother of 30 grandchildren and 43 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Elsie Martin, Orvie and Adeline Horst, Aleda Horst, Edwin and Esther Horst, Delton and Lena Horst, MaryAnn and George Bowman, Elsie Horst, and Annie and William Dafoe. Predeceased by her parents Samuel and MaryAnn Horst, siblings Elmer Horst, Edna Horst, Samuel Horst and infant brother Amsey, brothers-in -law Joseph Martin and Delton Shoemaker, two grandsons and a great-grandson. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. and Thursday, December 15, 2016 from 2-6 p.m. at the Dreisinger Funeral Home , 62 Arthur St. S., Elmira. A family service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday, December 16, 2016 at 9 a.m. then to Montrose Mennonite Meeting House for burial and public service.

    HORST, Orvie April 30, 1929 - April 14, 2017 Very peacefully passed into the presence of his Lord on Friday, April 14, 2017 at St. Mary's Hospital. Orvie, formerly of Elmira, was the beloved husband of Adeline (Eby) Horst for 64 years. He was the loved father of Barbara Rosado (Louie) of Los Angeles, CA, Margaret Rediker (Lyn) of Beebe, QC, Florence Hunt (Robert) of Kitchener, and Clare Horst (Cida) of Kitchener. Orvie is lovingly remembered by his ten grandchildren and 12 great-grand children, remembered by his two brothers and three sisters, and is predeceased by his parents Samuel and Maryann (Martin) Horst, two sisters and two brothers. The family will receive their relatives and friends on Monday, April 17, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, 62 Arthur St. S., Elmira. An interment will take place on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at 1 p.m. at Elmira Mennonite Cemetery. The memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. at Elmira Mennonite Church, 58 Church St. W., Elmira.     AMSEY HORST Infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Sam W. Horst, died Monday, May 7th, age seven weeks. He is survived by his parents, five sisters and five brothers. The funeral service was held on Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the residence to North Woolwich Men-nonite Cemetery for burial.
