    George Good, 67, of St. Jacobs died at the K-W Hospital Friday after a lengthy illness.

    Born in Woolwich Township, he was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Simeon Good. He was a member of St. Jacobs Mennonite Church.
    He was predeceased by his first wife, the former Viola Kraft, in 1952 and is survived by his widow, the former Maryann Hoffman; one. son, Elmer, St. Jacobs; three daughters, Mrs Martin (Alice) Good- all of Toronto, Mrs. John (Lorene) Brubacher of Parkhill, Mrs. Zenas (Eleanor) Buehler of St. Jacobs; three brothers, Leander and Arnan of Waterloo, and Stanley, Kitchener: and six grandchildren. One brother and one sister predeceased him

    The funeral was conducted at St. Jacobs Mennonite Church at 3 p.m. Saturday by Rev. Glen Brubacher.

    Burial was in St. Jacobs Mennonite Cemetery.

    Lorene Brubacher, 1937-2017

    Lorene Isabelle Brubacher, 79, of Petitcodiac passed away peacefully Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at home with family at her side.
    Growing up in St. Jacobs,ON, the daughter of the late George and Viola (Kraft) Good, she led an active athletic youth. Marrying John in 1958, they raised five children for whom Lorene showed the meaning of unconditional love. In 1977 they moved to Petitcodiac where Lorene continued to live her life shaped by her faith showing love and compassion to family and strangers alike. She was a founding and well loved member of the Petitcodiac Mennonite Church.

    She is survived and sadly missed by her loving husband John; children Douglas (Lee-Ann), Ottawa, Donald, Petitcodiac, Frank (Donna), Petitcodiac, Sandra Bunnett (David), Havelock, and Mark (Selena), Moncton; beloved grandchildren Kelvin, Clyde, Allie, Jeremy, Kyle, Ryan, Marta, Jacob, Daniel, Chloe, and Emily; sisters Alice Brubacher, St. Jacobs, ON and Eleanor Buehler (Zenus), Floradale, ON; brother Elmer Good (Irene), Drayton, ON, and numerous nieces and nephews.

    Resting at the Petitcodiac Mennonite Church, 285 Old Post Road, visiting will be Friday, February 10 from 7 to 9 pm and from where the funeral will be held Saturday, February 11 at 2:30 pm with Pastor Gordon Driedger officiating. Interment at Maplewood Cemetery at a later date.

    Arrangements are in the care of Salisbury Funeral Home.

    BRUBACHER, Lorene (nee Good) Lorene Isabelle Brubacher, 79, of Petitcodiac, NB passed away peacefully Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at home with family at her side. Daughter of the late George and Viola (Kraft) Good, Lorene grew up in St. Jacobs, ON. Marrying John in 1958, they spent time in the Parkhill and Nairn area. In 1977 they moved to Petitcodiac, NB. She was a founding and well loved member of the Petitcodiac Mennonite Church. She is survived and sadly missed by her loving husband John; 5 children and 11 beloved grandchildren; sisters Alice Brubacher, St. Jacobs, and Eleanor Buehler (Zenus), Floradale; brother Elmer Good (Irene), Drayton, and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at St. Jacobs Mennonite Church, March 10 at 2 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Canadian Bible Society or MCC would be appreciated.
