    ABRAHAM BEARINGER

    Abraham Bearinger of RR 1, Wallenstein died Friday at Kitchener Waterloo Hospital after a brief illness. He was 80. He was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Noah Bearinger. His wife, the former Leah Weber, predeceased him in 1958. Surviving are four sons, Henry, Sidney and Noah, all of RR 1, Wallenstein, and Amsey RR 6, Mount Forest; two daughters, Mrs. Amon (Salome) Bauman, RR 1, Wallenstein, and Mrs. Elam (Minerva) Wideman, RR 1, St. Jacobs, three brothers, Noah and Osiah, both of Elmira, and David, St. Jacobs; one sister, Mrs. Ivan (Elizabeth) Martin, Elmira, 39 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He was predeceased by three brothers. The body was at the Dreisinger funeral parlor until 2 p.m. Sunday when removal was made to the home where service was conducted at 9 am. Tuesday. Removal was then made to the South Peel Mennonite meeting house for a further service. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.

    Husband of Hannah (Martin) Bearinger; father of Aden (Elvina) of RR 1, Elmira, Selinda (Mrs. Ira Martin) of RR 1, Linwood, Delton (Katie) of RR 5, Mount Forest, Cleon (Lydian) of RR 1, Wallenstein, Eileen (Mrs. Joseph Gingrich) of RR 6, Mount Forest, Abram (Anna) of RR 1, Wallenstein, Salome (Mrs. Melvin Martin) and Perceda (Mrs. James Weber), all of RR 1, Mount Forest; 57 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren also survive. Brother of Noah (Elizabeth) Bearinger, Amsey (Louisa) Bearinger, Salome (Mrs. Ammon Bauman) and Minerva Wideman.

    Predeceased by his parents, Abraham and Leah (Weber) Bearinger; one brother, Henry and one brother-in- law, Elam Wideman.
    Friends may call at his home, RR 1, Wallenstein today (Wednesday) from 1-5 p.m. and 6:30-8 p.m. where the fu- neral service will be held on Thursday morning at 9 a.m., then to the South Peel Mennonite Meeting House for further service and burial in the ad- joining cemetery.

    BEARINGER, Amsey \endash Died peacefully at his home on Saturday, September 3, 2022 at the age of 98 years. He leaves to mourn one son and seven daughters: Esther & Wesley Weber of St. Jacobs; Mary & Laverne Martin, Lena & Eldon Frey, Martha & Lester Martin, Edna & Levi Frey, Paul & Irene Bearinger, Anna & Floyd Martin and Amy & Harvey Bowman all of Mount Forest. Amsey will be missed by his 48 grandchildren, 135 great-grandchildren, two sisters and one sister-in-law. He is predeceased by his beloved wife Louisa (née Martin) Bearinger, two granddaughters and three great-grandsons, and by his parents Abraham & Leah Bearinger, three brothers, three sisters-in-law and two brothers-in-law.

    Visitation will be held at the home of Paul Bearinger, 9553 Concession 8, R.R. #6, Mount Forest on Sunday, September 4th from 2:00 \endash 5:30 and 6:30 \endash 8:00 p.m. and on Monday from 1:00 \endash 5:00 p.m. Family service will be on Tuesday, September 6th at 9:00 a.m., then to Spring Creek Mennonite Meetinghouse for public burial and further services.
