ST. JACOBS, Oct. 29, Mrs. W. H. Winkler, wife of the St. Jacobs postmaster, died at her home here early today in her 79^th year.
The daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Reutlinger, she is survived by her husband, one daughter, Mrs. Gordon Hollinger of St. Jacobs, and a sister, Mrs. William Berberich, Kitchener.
Funeral services will be held at her late residence at two p.m. Sunday. Burial will follow in Calvary Evangelical cemetery.

AURELIUS BERBERICH

A former resident and a native of North Easthope township, A.U. (Bill) Berberich of Kitchener died Thursday of a heart attack. He was 77 years of age.

One of the senior business men of Kitchener both from the standpoint of age and years in business, he had operated a smoke shop for nearly 50 years.

Mr. Berberich was born in North Easthope September 5, 1890, and was a son of the late Rev. and Mrs. William Berberich. The family moved to New York state and in 1929 went to Kitchener, where Rev. Berberich assumed the ministry of the Evangelical United Brethren Church on Weber Street.

Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Fred (Laura) Ernst and Emma J. Berberich, both of Kitchener. The service was hold at Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home Saturday afternoon with Rev. G.F. Barthel officiating. Interment was in the Evangelical cemetery at St. Jacobs.

McKillican, Gladys Winkler

Passed away suddenly in the presence of the Lord on August 28, 2013 at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre with her family by her side. Gladys Winkler McKillican in her 91st year. Beloved wife of Rev. Donald McKillican.

Predeceased by her former husband Harry Watts of Markham. Dear mother of Gordon (Sue Anne) Watts of Little Britain, Ontario. Loved grandmother of Genni (Andrew) Epp, James (Sarah) Watts, Joel and Jonathan Watts. Great grandmother of Olivia, Alexander and Hudson Epp. Much loved by Kathy, Glen, Ward and Larissa and Norman and Sharon Hollinger. Loved sister-in-law of Marie, Bernal and Marjorie. Predeceased by her parents Gordon Hollinger and Olivia Winkler. Gladys was a dedicated volunteer at the Grove Park Home for 15 years and a faithful secretary to the WMS of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church for 20 years. Her whole life was devoted to the Christian Faith.

Family and friends will be received at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie (705-721-9921) from 2: 00 - 4: 00 p.m. and 7: 00 - 9: 00 p.m. on Thursday September 5, 2013. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Friday, September 6, 2013 at 11: 00 a.m. Reception to follow. An interment will take at Barrie Union Cemetery following the reception.
